I was sitting on the STARK VARG !!

That's exactly what I had to do with the Alta -- sitting is more of an exception rather than the rule. Unfortunately it the seat is still too hard when I have to sit down, like when coming out of very tight turns.

I was sitting on the STARK VARG !!

OUCH! And I used to think that Alta already went too far with all the slimness and firmness. I may not enjoy bouncing on that 80hp bicycle seat.

Thanks, Redwolf! I am getting my stuff ready! How tough are the rocky sections? Do I need any special tires for them not to crash hard?

Hey guys. It's quiet here. How prepared (unprepared) is everybody? What about generators/numbers/etc.? This is the week that I am supposed to be packing the van and installing the lighting on the bike. But I am a few days behind schedule. Just fixed a cylinder 2 misfire on the van and this...

You seem to always be letting someone by on the inside every time you take an outside line. The Alta brakes great, and accelerates great. You should take the inside lines more often. And stay away from those right rear corners of the bikes ahead of you, LOL!!! Great videos! Thank you for...

MX to EX / Kickstand Warning

No, that what I thought too. But I actually had to remove that jumper. Then it stopped asking for the kickstand. The Liquid kit comes with the kickstand harness but no kickstand magnet. Just do not use that kickstand harness, and the bike will not be asking for the kickstand.

MX to EX / Kickstand Warning

I didn't have that harness that goes to the kickstand. I first kept that jumper plug connected, and the bike asked to raise the kickstand. But then I removed the jumper plug and connected the main harness to the auxiliary harness, and it stopped asking.

UPDATE: There is no need to install the kickstand sensor harness. But you need to remove the white/yellow plug with a single jumper wire and plug the accessory harness in there.

Media Review Media Week in Spain - Electric Cycle Rider

On a motocross track, when you drain the battery in under 30 minutes -- yes. But not when you are talking about leisurely trail riding and discharging the battery over 4 hours, or at the average rate of 0.25 C/hour. At this rate, the battery cells are not generating much heat. No battery power...

AER revalve #2 and 'air-to-air' conversion

Recently I have been riding my SMR on pavement. And this helped me realize how inadequate the 48AER fork really is. Too much friction. The spring characteristics are all wrong. The balance between compression and rebound doesn't work for smooth roads. All kinds of stuff that we normally do not...
