NEW! STARK VARG EX is here!

New clamp system for the phone. Haven't seen any rear turning lights or side mirrors and can't believe it would be legal in my country with this kind of angle for the plate holder? They don't really show the charger either (really hoping for onboard charger for the Supermoto). Very happy to...

NEW! STARK VARG EX is here!

Good take, appreciate it could make sense for the manufacturer, and also for some customers. And I think the price is really competitive. But to me software limitations it's like buying a TV, the factory would leave some cardboard on a fourth of it (ok say they resize the screen so it's not...

NEW! STARK VARG EX is here!

The bad news: 60 and 80 hp versions are back, both for Varg and Varg EX. I dislike manufacturers artificially limiting performances by software. The good news: Varg 70 is still $11k / 12k€ but 60 hp is cheaper yet $10k / 11k€

NEW! STARK VARG EX is here!

Gotta say, attention to detail and design are crazy. Redesigned switches and so on, they do listen and improve the product almost in real time. Does the stand work?

NEW! STARK VARG EX is here!

Great great news (y) They can probably sell more Enduro than MX, also quiet bikes makes even more sense for Enduro, ride anywhere and better acceptance of the sport. Hopefully they'll be ok with the deliveries schedule now that the factory is running. 120 kg is sweet, just 2 extra kilos, 7.2...

2025 Stark Varg rumors, changes, etc.

Ducati is doing that with its MotoE. I believe they still offer riders a mechanical rear brake as an option.

2025 Stark Varg rumors, changes, etc.

Road legal enduro is confirmed for 2025, Supermoto should be ready as well (definitely more taxing for the battery and overheating). Royal Enfield Flying flea (commuter bike) and e-Himalayan (adventure bike, 13 kWh) are coming in the next couple of years but concerning proper new Stark models...

Is there a list of Error Codes anywhere out there?

Anyone using compressed air after washing their bike? I know KTM riders obsessed with that to avoid issues with electronics, would make sense for the Varg as well, at least on the "weak points". That and using sensible water pressure, more garden hose than cleaning your front porch.

€50 million investment in Stark Future by Royal Enfield parent company

Super interesting vid, thanks. No wonder the guy has no idea what Stark is, can't see them on the streets (besides a couple plated SM and enduro), can't see them much in competition, and dirt bikes are so niche... Street models will help build brand awareness. Really nice to see this, bike...

AMA and Electric Motorcycles in AMA races

Great interview with Yannis Irsuti, one of Stark official riders in SX tour. He talks about adapting his riding style, development about suspensions, whoops, ongoing work about "noise", and 2025 racing program (possible wildcards in France Elite MX championship)...

Canard to race Honda CR Electric in Japan

Wooo, juicy, I had never heard about that connection with Mission motors. That bike was a gem by the way.

Flux Performance - eMX startup from Europe

Hadn't been paying attention to flux instagram for some time, great stuff 👍 Development seems to be going well with talk about Primo 2.0 and aiming to start deliveries about a year from now. https://www.instagram.com/p/DCEgrjUohxm/?igsh=MTdhZDFmY3lkbHMxdA== And absolutely terrific photo...

    2025 KTM Freeride E

They're shutting production down completely for January and February, then re starting with reduced shifts so building stocks for new models would be quite slow.

    General Poll, response appreciated

All this sounds awesome, electric bikes open up so many new possibilities, aftermarket is so not dead, just different. And definitely more interesting.

    Enduro Model Confirmed

Not sure about road legal Enduro selling less than less than motocross equivalent. Sales data detailed by model are hard to come by, latest I've found is 2019 for Australia, yet in it you can see that Yamaha sold almost 3 times more WR450F than YZ450F or that Honda sold about 3 times more...

    Enduro Model Confirmed

I wonder what they're adjusting to adapt the Varg to enduro, beyond suspensions? Interesting to see some factory pics, he's also mentioning some other stuff coming so I'm thinking road models (other than Enduro and Supermoto) aren't that far.

    Arenacross inntroduces X-Pro Class

Also good comparison in the whoops https://www.instagram.com/reel/DCkt2HusIln/?igsh=MTRvdzdta3czbGxuYQ== and why Josh thinks Vargs are slower in the whoops I think it’s because there isn’t as much rotating mass as a gas engine. No transmission, piston, rod, flywheel, just a small electric...
