    2025 KTM Freeride E

Yep, here is the white Freeride https://www.husqvarna-motorcycles.coml 660 W onboard charger is slow but fits under the seat, curious to see what Stark will manage to do for their road models

Flux Performance - eMX startup from Europe

Marko I like your style and love your enthusiasm, wish you the best. Just to say Zero Motorcycles are not dead, in fact a friend just bought one! Their sales must be quite low (I've seen in the 300 per year in France which is supposedly their biggest European market) but they do have dealers...

I also like "weight (without fuel)" 🤣 I'm not aware of any e motorcycles using LFP batteries instead of Li-ion. LFP use is indeed increasing for cars due to lower cost, better longevity, and getting rid of Co. Although with lower energy density (compared to Li-ion) you either get lower range or...

stark won’t go into gear after being washed

Wow guys, you definitely have to dry the sensitive parts by blowing air after power washing, that will save you a lot of trouble, don't let water sit on electronic parts.

stark won’t go into gear after being washed

I doubt that, but even so, what matters most is where said pressurized water would go. Footpegs, wheels, skid plate and so on you can safely pressure wash. Areas most sensitive to water are not exposed, they wouldn't be affected just by riding. I'd guess upper part of the bike is where you'd...

BYD E-VALI All-Electric Van (Europe only)

BYD is fast developing in Europe and their ads and demo cars were all over the place in Mexico. That would hurt a lot the legacy manufacturers for sure, hence tariffs from both sides of the Atlantic ocean.

New UK owner road legal gen 2

Thanks, just took an interest in tracking the progress in VIN numbers to get some insight in their production numbers, that's all. There's a thread dedicated to this Highest VIN I've seen so far is 88XX but as it's in the US I assume latest European batch must be close to 10 000 which is insane...

New UK owner road legal gen 2

We can sense new bike excitement in your posts 😁 May I ask about your VIN number, does it end in 7XXX, 8XXX, 9XXX?

    New Stark Discounts/Stock Tube Issues

Don't think it has anything to do with side stand, I think it's just the current estimated time for any new orders, 2 months for Europe and 4 months for US. As discussed in another thread, this delay used to be shorter so one hypothesis is that it could be because they're using some production...

    New Stark Discounts/Stock Tube Issues

Not how it looks on their website, for Europe if you order now for a configuration not in stock, you get delivery for Christmas and the price is still 12 000 €.

    2025 KTM Freeride E

If you're referring to Bryan Haskell Dyno vid they only showed power, not torque, if it's another one can you find the link? I took final drive ratio value of 3.6, should be the same than 51:14 sprocket ratio, am I missing something?

    2025 KTM Freeride E

Thanks, I guess the only proper comparison between ICE and electric would be torque at the rear wheel (with standard gearing) but I didn't have much luck looking for numbers for 450s. Although this article says "32.9 lb.-ft [45 Nm] of torque at the rear wheel"...

    2025 KTM Freeride E

Freeride torque is 37 Nm (at the countershaft or rear wheel?) Varg torque is 275 Nm at the countershaft, 938 Nm at the wheel. I think typical 4 stroke 450 torque is around 45-50 Nm at the wheel, 250 is more like 30 Nm.

AMA and Electric Motorcycles in AMA races

I'll say that this part "The FIM reserves the right to update the EOT/BOP at its discretion (and at any time) in the case of an imbalance. In case of dispute, the decision of the FIM Technical Director is final." does not exactly inspire confidence nor encourages manufacturers to develop...

2 strokes up to 255cc, 4 strokes up to 455cc, no minimum weight Here are the rules for balancing performance in FIM superenduro ttps://www.fim-moto.com/en/documents/view/2025-0-superenduro-electric-eot-bop-v-18092024 Do not worry, they have thought of other limitations "maximum torque...

    2025 KTM Freeride E

Well it's a gen3 update, definitely not a new model, gained 2 hp, 1.6 kWh. 25 HP, 5.5 kWh, 111 kg so still a trail bike and not a competitor for the Varg. It was previously priced around 13 000 € but if they can be really aggressive with the price they could get some success. Trail bike...

AMA and Electric Motorcycles in AMA races

Electrics restricted to 48 hp and minimum 123 kg in FIM superenduro. No such restrictions for ICE obviously. That's beyond ridiculous, the FIM and Superenduro organizers are basically assuming that the Varg would wipe out their competitors if they were not restricted. All that before their...
