I have a new in unopened package Alta skidplate I was gonna put on my MX but never did. Ive since bought an EXR and it already has one. Price at Alta store is $188, sell for $130.

Cycra is pretty much the gold standard in barkbusters. I also like the bar tapping option over the cam lock type bar mounts for a more sturdy setup. On my MX I use Cycra Pro Bends with Cycra mounts without issue, cant believe the SM would be any different.

Wow, do you ride that type of terrain regularly? Im an offroad guy, and prefer my rides/races to be the harder the better, but what youre riding is pretty extreme.
