Im betting Alta didnt even design the slider, and just sourced the entire thing out to either Acerbis or WP. And getting an outside vendor to support this is likely where the problem lies. I also assume Acerbis did the design/manufacture of the water holding subframe.

I do the same and usually bring both bikes to get a full day of riding. I also like the Alta better, but Im certainly faster on my 350.

This is an Alta problem, but your dealer should never have let it leave their building knowing it wasnt right. I raised an eyebrow from the beginning of this thread regarding your dealer.

Since Im electrical knowledge challenged, those Generacs are the only ones ive seen that connect the 2 together and have a 220v outlet at the end. Would such a setup have enough watts/amps? Is it even 220V, or just an RV plug putting out 110?

Yaeh but the thing is being Euro models they run at 230 volts. I looked into importing awhile ago, but getting a euro spec gen here seemed impossible. And even if I could it would be useful for an Alta only, nothing else.
