Yeah, they are kinda specialty tires, but the grip is terrific, even on rocks. Experiment a bit with pressures as they are sensitive to that given the very soft sidewalls & crown, there's a 'sweet spot' where they perform well without feeling too vague. Once you get them aired up just right...

Imagine a 200lb Stark Varg ! Range would increase substantially as weight drops. Sadly, the current model bikes we've all been waiting on would be rendered obsolete in a hurry, such is the nature of constantly developing electronics.

IRC IX09w 'gekkota' 110/100 Those are the lightest of the gummy rear tires as they are 2 ply, not 3. They are an open pattern which sheds mud well & the compound is as soft or softer than a trials tire. There is also a matching gekkota front 80/100 that's equally grippy.

If you ever have occasion to have another go with an 18" wheel ; consider trying the IRC ix09W 'Gekotta' gummy tire. They are 2 ply, quite light & have far & away the most compliant sidewalls of any knobby or trials tire Ive ever used. On our full size 2 stroke enduro bikes we typically can run...

It's relevant from the standpoint of ; Sportsman 2 class winning lap times were around 16 minutes per lap, the A & AA classes were 25 minute laps at the pointy end. ( shortened course for S2, but 5 laps total ) Shaun Clarke is a AA level rider, so it's not surprising that Shawn won handily...

Congrats on the great result & great build. The swappable battery looks to be faster than adding petrol in an ICE bike ! Whats the bike weigh ? How waterproof is the quick battery swap arrangement ? .

As stated, the policy is that pre-order customers pay-in-full prior to receiving delivery. Are there any protections in place to the consumer for non delivery ?
