    Footpeg spring retainer

On the Alta the inner leg of the peg return spring is a bit short, and it also has too large of a gap to fill between the peg and the mount. It jams. You have to un-bend the 90 degree bend in it slightly. You may be able to do that even without removing anything.

    TCMB371 2020 SX Futures Thread

New tracks that have doubles (not to mention triples!) scare the crap out of me. I would rather watch Bryan's GoPro! I can't wait! I am thinking about driving to Glendale next week to watch Round 4. No, I am not thinking about racing the Futures myself! :ROFLMAO:

    TCMB371 2020 SX Futures Thread

I was surprised when the Supercross Futures timing and scoring page showed a YouTube video. I hoped I would see the actual race! But this is a raw audio with no video or even human comments! WTF? Here is the timing and scoring page. Bryan is in the 30+ class. Supercross Futures :: Round 2 -...

What kind of front tire is this? Looks like it is for the intermediate terrain. Does it work at Anaheim for you?

Sweet !!! :lurker: It is great that they even found an Alta logo for the timing and scoring! Get a good start and you should be in the main. Then do not forget to holeshot the main!

Is MXR & EXR Rear Shock The Same

@Mark911 said it does, but he didn't specify from which KTM model. KTM shocks and linkages changed over the years too.

Is MXR & EXR Rear Shock The Same

You can install the MXR/EXR shocks onto an MX/EX if you also install the MXR/EXR linkages.

Is MXR & EXR Rear Shock The Same

Oops! I thought the EXR had an enduro shock. But if it is the same as the MXR, then the OP can buy an MXR 60N/mm spring and install the MXR valving (as documented in Resources).

Alta only. And these are Alta-only part numbers.

Is MXR & EXR Rear Shock The Same

Here are the part numbers: MXR Rear Shock v.1 vs. v.2 Yes, the MX/EX shocks are different and are longer. You do not want them.

Is MXR & EXR Rear Shock The Same

I do not think you can compress that without a hydraulic press. This is a spring rate for 1.3L adventure twin cylinder behemoths.

Is MXR & EXR Rear Shock The Same

The MXR rear shock has a different valving. I'd just buy an MXR rear shock from Liquid and not bother with buying springs and revalving.

    Removing batteries

I would remove the battery and say the bike has no motor. The motor is so small you can't tell whether it is in or not anyway, and nobody can prove it either way without taking the bike apart. The battery is the largest piece. If you remove it, it will look like something large and significant...

Happy New Year from a new-ish member!

Welcome to the club, Brian! Yes, I got VIN #445. I actually wanted VIN #444 because I thought the number was luckier, but when I arrived, Jeff at Extreme Action Sports already prepared all the paperwork for VIN #445. No worries, this bike has been trouble-free for me.

    SM charge cable

I think you can use a regular heavy duty extension cord that is good up to 15A.
