    Silence electric scooter

Take 2-3 batteries with you to a race track and you can ride all day long! Also power your coffee maker from it, haha! Electric scooter with the best battery - Silence S01

    Silence electric scooter

I like it how the battery is almost as large as the Alta's, and you can roll it and take it with you to work or to a coffee shop to plug in and charge! No EV charging station necessary!

    2018 MXR Suspension

You can buy a stock MX 63 N/mm spring from someone here who has changed their spring rates. @OneLapper probably has one laying around.

    2018 MXR Suspension

I have a few random comments. When you reduce the compression damping you also need to reduce the rebound damping. Else the suspension will be compressing more over bumps but will not have enough time to rebound over successive bumps and will feel harsh. Beware of reducing the compression...

Can you adjust the steering head angle and offset

Have rotated steering stems on two of my three bikes and both required a hydraulic press to be pushed out, which I think is normal. The oval and conical taper fit is mesmerizing. I keep thinking about how to spec the manufacturing tolerances on such a design. It's also very hard to measure...

Can you adjust the steering head angle and offset

I am now trying to remove my steering stem from the lower triple clamp, and I can't figure out how it is held there, and where to press to push it out. Should I put the two bolts back in and press on them??

    How to get into racing

If I were to start racing now, I would start with motocross practice days. Just come to the track, pay the practice fee, and go chase others with a similar skill and try not to get run over or landed on in a no-race (low-pressure) environment. Just hold your line, stay to one side on jumps, and...

24 Hours of Starvation Ridge in WA -- October 26 & 27, 2019 (new dates)

I'd say race each other at a 90% effort, which could be sustained for several hours.

24 Hours of Starvation Ridge in WA -- October 26 & 27, 2019 (new dates)

I would mandate Map 1 for all of you Starvation Ridge racers, until you start seeing not dead batteries at the finish line.

24 Hours of Starvation Ridge in WA -- October 26 & 27, 2019 (new dates)

I too can do 40 miles trail riding familiar trails at a leisurely pace. But on a motocross track is has never been over 19 miles. Same when racing and pushing hard in the woods, I suppose.

24 Hours of Starvation Ridge in WA -- October 26 & 27, 2019 (new dates)

I too was not flowing smoothly on my first lap, compensating for it with harder accelerations and harder braking, and end up using 2/3 of the battery over the 11-mile mostly dry course. Later in the race it became closer to 50% of the battery, even in muddy conditions. I was always in Map 2. We...
