Post here your Stark Varg issues (or not!)

I had such a problem with my Beta 300 2T. It was put so lean that everytime it really had to work hard and got hot it ran away from me. Replaced lots of parts but just 2 jets ended up being the trick. Nothing to do with Stark issues, but more knowledge is more.

Is it possible to add electrical accessories to a Starg Varg?

I'm not so sure. The competition (Enduro bikes) also don't have a big enough 12V system to do those things you like. People often try, but with drained battery's or burned coils as a result. The Zero is not on the same planet, power is good enough though. It's the overal frame and suspension...

True, however everything that breaks down on my bike is replaced with better and more durable parts. You can clearly see progres in the parts and that's a good thing.

    Stark Varg on-board charger

In a lott of places in Europe you need a licence plate for the lower level enduro events since there are road sections. for example every enduro Event in the Netherlands needs to be done a road legal bike with a licence plate.

Is it possible to add electrical accessories to a Starg Varg?

It really is a shame it doesn't have it, but there is no serious competition at the moment. A Zero FX isn't even on the same planet. I would a little battery behind the front number plate.

    Stark Varg on-board charger

I think they did it to get it legal to run in Enduro events.

Post here your Stark Varg issues (or not!)

I have a GEN 1 MX bike VIN in the high 11xx numbers. Issues so far: - Sidestand bracket breaks a lot. - Sand came into the first handlebar switch, could not press down and after really trying (couldn't start after a pittstop in race) to the microswitch inside broke. Replacement should be better...

    Powersupply for mobilephone

I don't know these bikes, but i would leave the system alone. Strap a powerbank behind the headlight and charge the phone that way.

    2025 KTM Freeride E

They are lowering the production to reduce stock at the factory and at dealers. It's not said they will stop production of any bike. They build too many bikes, flooded the dealers with them wich in turn had to give big discounts to sell them before the next batch came.

    Stark Varg charger housing kit

The Hex. I would also love somewhere to store the 230V cable.

Latest stark app update increases charging time.

Was your setting still at 3,3kW? Or has the highest setting changed? Depending on the battery temperature and state of charge it is has been lower than max since i have the bike (just over a year now).

    Stark actually profitable... kinda

Lower price is often negotiated. Higher however not. When a dealer goes higher it will cost them their name. Also being a so tightly packed country they can't up the price without the risk of customers just going to the other dealer. The 2 farthest towns are 4,5 hours apart, but it wil be hard...

    Stark actually profitable... kinda

Here you actually can get a lower price on the bike compared to official numbers, but never higher.

    Electric Dirt Bike Specific Tires?

With a 450 grip is the limiting factor as much as it is for an E bike. So i don't really see the difference.

    Stark Varg rear suspension interchangeability

Has anyone tried the Varg suspension on other bikes or other suspension on the Stark? I'm curious if anyone tried to fit a KYB A-kit from Stark on a Beta, since it's much cheaper than Beta original non A-kit.

    Stark actually profitable... kinda

I think Stark does a great job of a ''hybrid'' system here. They have rather few dealers as you might expect from a starting brand. But there are enough to pick up and serivice your bike at one if you don't mind a longer drive there. However they also sell them online wich takes out the dealer...

DIY maintenance and safety for EVs

It's good to mind safety but you're overthinking it a little. A current needs a circle to flow. The danger of household applications is that they are all connected to ground so you touch a live wire you will always have a circle. Same goes for 12V battery systems found on ICE bikes where the -...

DIY maintenance and safety for EVs

I've replaced the battery and motor under warranty myself. It does not affect following warranty assured Stark to me. And it's 400V DC, true, but a household here in Europe is 230V AC, also very capable of killing you and in the same danger setting, yet everybody works with it. The connectors...
