    Mode Selector Switch Replacement

There should be a connector in the harness behind the headlight to plug it back into.

Brand new throttle cuts out occasionally, trying to kill me.

You need to update to the latest inverter firmware release. Mechanically adjusting the throttle will not suffice.

    First Customer Bikes are shipping!

Contactors will stop that from happening. If the contactors are open (just like on an Alta) there is no voltage unless the bike is active and pre-charge is safe across the controller and the battery pack

    Code 35 and 36

@#76 thanks for the ping. Few notes here: Code 35 - Pack voltage imbalance Code 36 - Module voltage imbalance Usually the Code 35 occurs due to the Code 36. The only way to clear the code is to get multitool as 76 mentioned. Ideally getting Multitool helps, especially outside the US. Along...

My MXR to EXR conversion / lighting install

Coolish. Every CHP ive taken Altas to have been pretty chill, when I took my Alta to the DMV, they didnt even bother looking at the bike (I did as it was sitting in the back of my truck).

    2019 mxr fast charger issue

Only way to update would be to borrow a multitool laptop. Possibly is available in the FL area. Alta or Alta accessories since the time of Alta's closure has not been really serviced by a dealer persay. You could try WMR Performance, since there always interested in helping Alta customers.

The old range question and some other weird thing

Thats exactly it. The BCU is reading the cell voltages via the BMS (LTC Chip on the module) There is a bit of voltage sag and when the bike fires up it does a re-calibration.

    2019 mxr fast charger issue

Few things: 1. Is the charger plugged into the bike? 2. Sounds like the GCFI is pushed in as there is a green light. 3. The fan/heat/behavior will not occur untill the bike recognizes the charger. If your bike is a MX/MXR and has never been updated, it could not handshake correctly, and be...

    Did you check liquid performance?

Sold 2018 Alta EX — SOLD

100% Needs the updated inverter firmware to remove the throttle fault. Ideally throwing the entire FW package will update the bike entirely but up to you/new owner.

    Alta MX coolant leak

Which sticker are you asking about? The VIN sticker? Also I do have the inverter gasket (its a fiber gasket)

    Alta MX coolant leak

To clarify - you need to run coolant for the inverter or motor. I would not run with out the coolant. Sure there have been a few comments over the years, if its really needed, I would not deviate. Roughly 45 min to run the coolant process, similar to our production cycle times. I will check...

    Alta MX coolant leak

@#76 few things: 1. We never used red coolant for the bike. It was green coolant that was used for the inverter. Also weeping could only happen if as you said, one of the hoses finally got loose. In the entire production run we never saw an inverter leaking. Also we torque controlled every...
