I know and I agree, but it made me think that minor injuries (mostly knees) and major injuries (mostly back) can be partially avoided with the correct protection gear.

I am really not proud about what I wore on that ride. It was already evening and did not have time to wrar the entire outfit and protection. Promised myself not to do that again even for lite off road. The combination of shorts, sneakers & knee guards really does look ridiculous...

Just as a side note, I checked the max speed on my EX (13/53 gear ratio If I am not mistaken) - It is 70mph.

Sounds good and I hope you are not disappointed with the range of the bike. I understand you have the quick charger? Any photos? Totally agree that the bike feels nimble and light. Only when picking it up, it reminds you of its weight. Today I rode on the rockiest terrain I have ever been on...

Philip, didn't you have one on your MX? If you did, than transfer it to the MXR (if you ask me, I would replace your MX plastics with the MXR as well. Looks great).

I actually use it quite often for getting to work and around town. Love it.

I agree, but it seems like Alta are heavily oriented towards Motocross than enduro. The EX does not get nearly as much publicity as its Mx brothers.

Excellent video. Especially liked the factory footage. Interesting how oriented these bikes are towards motocross vs trail riding & enduro. In Israel, enduro riding is much more popular than Mx. I guess it is the other way around in the US. Alta's motocross videos are much more popular than...

Just throwing an idea, feel free to shut me off ☺️ Perhaps. Instead of upgrading the software and changing connectors, trade-in the SM for an EX. Switch to dual sport tires and enjoy both worlds (on & off road)?
