Coolant Pump... not running with ignition on

Man, you have so much patience and faith! Alta or your dealer should have also sent you a gold medal.

Fasst Company rear brake return spring on an Alta

The brake pedal damper must be the Alta's solution to the touchy brakes and snappy throttle.

    Display issues?

I have seen that green corner on my MXR once, after I turned the key off. I cycled the key once more and it disappeared.

    Inverters (12V to 120V - 240V) and Step-Up Transformers (120V to 240V)

I stuffed the new inverter under the driver's seat. The previous one was held there securely by rubber bands. The new one will need to have two 1/8" thick steel straps to hold it in place safely. I do not want my feet crushed by it in case of an accident.

Speedometer/Odometer reads from motor shaft, NOT front wheel!!

WOW! That's impressive. Did you think about starting an electric dirt bike company? If you had built and sold a few of those, we now could have been talking on a Steve Moto Owners Forum! ;)

    Inverters (12V to 120V - 240V) and Step-Up Transformers (120V to 240V)

Not sure about CE and UL certifications. There is an ISO9001 stickler and another small one with a royal crown. I have added the weights, check them out. I am not convinced that making this thing so huge and heavy was necessary.

Not all inverters are created equal. Even though all of them are made in China. Left to right... Traveller, Tractor Supply US market 3000W 12V - 110V Modified sine wave 6 lbs $299 UKC, Banggood.com Chinese market 4000W 12V - 220V Modified sine wave 3 lbs $89 AIMS Power, Amazon.com US market...

Speedometer/Odometer reads from motor shaft, NOT front wheel!!

The MXR having a speedometer and an odometer is an extra that you do not get on other motocross bikes. The motocross industry standard is to have no speedometer. Honestly, I think there could have been no LCD display on the MX/MXR at all, if there was another more robust way to display the...

Cool. This is a interesting mounting location. Forgot to ask, why can't we hear the gas bike?

    Replacing Alta plastic

You might want to order a plain white graphics kit to keep it this way. White plastic does not stay pure white for long.

Speedometer/Odometer reads from motor shaft, NOT front wheel!!

This is the cheapest way to measure the speed, no additional hardware is needed. There is no ABS on these bikes, so installing a wheel speed sensor and a wire harness to it would have cost extra money and would not have been appreciated by guys who do not watch their speedometers, or do not...

Owner's Review Review after 500 miles on my MXR

Cool video! I like this view from a bike mounted camera. The lower camera height makes the speed appear a little faster than the rider sees it, and the 60-degree lean angles look like from a Moto GP video!

    Member Map

I just installed it and I am still figuring out how to make it work better. Right now I cannot see every member on the map, and I can't even see myself. Once I figure out how to make it work better, and I will post an update here. Update after 2 days: More map pins popped up!
