    Redshift EX videos

This looks like Arizona with a mini Grand Canyon, LOL! Except people actually live there.

    Redshift EX videos

Cool videos! I like your phone mount. When trail riding I always thought it would be nice to have a cell phone with the GPS in front of me. Perhaps with music too! :-)

Which maps are for what? (MX, MXR, EX)

I think rolling the throttle forward could be programmed to increase the engine braking. And at very low speeds it can also be used to move the bike in reverse.

Re-springing a 2017 Alta Redshift MX (and then revalving too)

Thanks for the question. It is a good topic, so I thought I'd create a new thread for the KYB SSS conversion: http://altaownersforum.com/threads/installing-the-kyb-sss-fork-on-the-alta-redshift.51/#post-188

Installing the KYB SSS fork on the Alta Redshift

Making a new thread for KYB SSS fans: After I revalved the fork to the specifications that Alta had developed I am now very happy with the original revalved fork. But if you want to try a KYB SSS setup on your Alta, then there are a couple of ways of doing it: Method 1: Buy a KYB SSS...

    Gear oil change

Grr... I bought the oil but haven't changed it yet. Contributing to my procrastination was a YouTube video of one of the top Alta guys claiming that the gear oil "almost never needs to be changed", or something like this. Thank you for the reminder. I'd rather stay on the cautious side and...

Which maps are for what? (MX, MXR, EX)

There are limitless customization opportunities with all the spare buttons and controls that Alta has. The throttle rolling forward is another one. But right now I suspect Alta is rushing to sell all the MXRs that people have ordered. The bikes are already excellent as-is, which means new...

Which maps are for what? (MX, MXR, EX)

I have uploaded the Owner's Manual and three Quick Start Guides for the MX, SM, and EX models under the "Resources" menu. This is all the information that Alta seems to have for the owners at this time. From the Redshift MX 2017 Quick Start Guide (definitely an outdated version): From the...

Redshift MX, EX, SM Quick Start Guides

After the late 2017 software update, this map information is not current. The guides are still useful though, for reference.

    My Redshift EX upgrades

Thank you for uploading the pictures, Oded! This looks like it is the latest Rekluse LHRB model. I have a few of their previous LHRB lever designs on my gas bikes, and I was not a big fan of those. Too spongy and not powerful enough. But this one looks more serious. . . . I noticed the max...

Which maps are for what? (MX, MXR, EX)

I was also told by one of Alta guys that the HP in all maps is the same (perhaps not in Map 1 though). What appears to be different is how exactly they reach that top HP.

Which maps are for what? (MX, MXR, EX)

This is from the 2017 Redshift manual. It has the info about the MX and SM models. I think this info is inaccurate though. I can definitely tell that in Map 2 the Regen is higher than in Map 3 or 4. I have seen a similar table somewhere else, and I think it was slightly different. I need to...

Going racing on my Alta Redshift MX!

The Redshift is awesome at climbing hills. In mode 1 I have climbed such hills that I was afraid to look at when I was on a 2-stroke. I am glad that hill climb video was slowed down and not sped up, LOL! Oh, and welcome to the forum, Oded. I've heard that Israel will be one of the first...
