Throttle and traction control on the Stark

Nice 🤓 Laptimes are quite close but also really depends on track layout ! At Guthrie and Prescott the Varg was clearly slower, at Reno and Daytona it was super close or a bit faster. Hicks probably knows why, if it's whoops or a certain kind of turn, jump or whatever. Damn now I need to...

Attempted theft of varg, now locked out of the phone HELP

Sorry to hear that. Standard advice is to meet in a public place not chosen by the buyer and if possible arrange for payment directly at the buyer's bank office. If the buyer only has an online bank I would personally not take cash. In France we have something called "chèque de banque" (bank...

Throttle and traction control on the Stark

I kept track of his fastest times in qualifications and mains, here are for the past few rounds. At Prescott he was clearly faster on the Yam but that was not the norm. Also bear in mind he had little to no experience on the Varg before that. AMA Arenacross, Hicks counter, Guthrie, round 7 X...

Throttle and traction control on the Stark

They've obviously forgotten to tell that to Zaragoza or Hicks when they've been racing AX UK (Zaragoza won first round, Hicks 2nd in round 6). Must be an AMA thing 😁 Also love that Hicks is racing both his Yam and Stark in AMA AX and his laptimes on the 2 bikes are very very close (if maybe not...

NEW! STARK VARG EX is here!

It's disappointing to see such issues at launch again, even more so to see Stark does not own it this time either, not communicating clearly to their customers who just see dates pushed back again and again with no end in sight.

    Stark Varg MX vs. EX

Yeah I couldn't believe that the peak power to continuous power was so high at 6.66 to 1, it's typically more 2 to 1 or 3 to 1 (for Zeros for instance). Crazy but I think it would take more than 1 bike with modest sales (compared to 125 market) to change national or EU laws. Obviously Zero...

    Stark Varg MX vs. EX

EX can be legally ridden with only and A1 license (for motorcycles up to 11 kW (15 hp) and 125cc). In some countries driver licence will automatically grant you A1 license (some require 1 day training). Yes peak power is 80 hp but what matters for the regulations is continuous power, rated at...

    Stark Varg MX vs. EX

Good summary. Battery cells are from a different supplier, pack with 10% more capacity.

Vid has been deleted, what was it, first look at the new app?

NEW! STARK VARG EX is here!

It will be registered as a 125cc equivalent (unbelievable for a 80 hp bike) which is often exempted of such kind of stuff like ABS.

NEW! STARK VARG EX is here!

Intriguing vid, amateur rider from the Netherlands with a somehow confidential YT channel got invited to ride the "new" Stark Varg MX, or something that looks like an hybrid between the current MX and the incoming EX. No plate holder, no lights, but EX map switch for turning lights...

    Dealership delivery

Agreed, of course technologically it's well advanced (though using commercial cells for instance), but I feel industrialization and commercialization is where they have been head and shoulders above the rest. Scaling up production really fast, with some known issues, but it remains very...

    Dealership delivery

Made me check Stark dealers network, over 420 worldwide including about 120 in the US. No dealer in Wyoming, Nebraska, Louisiana, Arkansas, Indiana, Delaware, Rhode island. 4 in Hawaii and 1 in Puerto Rico though.

    Dealership delivery

For some reason it seems that the (failed) kickstand is never included on bikes in stock. If you're in a hurry just forget the kickstand. Pretty easy to see dealers stock here: Stark Future Dealers | Stark Future You can also enter your search criteria: Stark Future Right now I see 3 Vargs...

AMA and Electric Motorcycles in AMA races

So, at GNCC round 1, Pinney rode 3 laps, 2h37min, total 36 miles of a complete mudfest. 25 hp 20% regen, battery died on him a few yards from the finish line, pushed it to finish, still good enough for top30% anyway. He rides without the phone, he was so very close to perfection in his battery...

"Action Needed: Secure Your VARG EX Delivery Date"

Except that for the EX, at the time of launch, they have a factory up and running churning 1000 bikes a month. I would hope not so much dripping new bikes one by one 🤞

NEW! STARK VARG EX is here!

You must be thinking about when Wass was referring to FIM Superenduro where electrics are restricted in power and weight (unlike the ICE bikes they compete with), this is not it here. Bassella Saturday race is 15 min, it's already a carnage when you see speed differential between top riders and...

NEW! STARK VARG EX is here!

It seems you have not been paying attention to competition. That is the real test bed. Indeed first pro Elite 30 min race on a Varg but riders have been racing +20 min races over Europe (France, Spain, Italy, Austria...) and Australia for a year. Hence people saying it's fine for 99% of riders...
