How to remove the bike from the battery.

Whooooa-a-a! That's a lot of steps compared to the Alta. Even the front fender may have to come off! But I like how the battery remains sitting on the original bike stand, and you don't have to squat under the bike to catch it. Now we just need some special bungees to keep the battery from...

    Stark Varg LHRB

I like to keep my foot brake too. I have both brakes on my Altas, so I will have the same setup on the Varg.

    Stark Varg LHRB

I ordered one from Stark Future. Here it is! I paid $301.90 plus $39 shipping in May. Today the price is $278.90 plus shipping. You can use this brake on the Alta too. Just replace the Varg's Bremo bracket with the Alta's Brembo bracket. The Varg uses a 25mm rear axle and the Alta uses a...

Alta throttle - all there is to know

An overkill is good when you have 50-80 horses between your legs and you are relying on being able to control them properly to accelerate and clear a big jump and then slow down and not launch off a bowl turn's berm into the grandstands. Can't have accidents like this happen due to a loose wire...

SEB TORTELLI STARK VARG (ÉLECTRIQUE) VS MOTOS THERMIQUES

YouTube video details are below, pardon my French. 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗩𝗮𝗿𝗴 𝗩𝗦 𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗲 𝘀! ⚡️ Some have seen it at Tonneins, Seb Tortelli has made almost all the holeshots on the handlebars of the most successful electric motocross bike in the world: the Stark Future VARG! 🚀 Although young...

SEB TORTELLI STARK VARG (ÉLECTRIQUE) VS MOTOS THERMIQUES

Racing tips learned: If you can out-accelerate anyone, there is no point in using berms! You can just cooper-webb your way all around the track. If they try to pass you on the outside, you slowly drift wide.

    Reprogram motor regen/engine braking?

You could also install the SM firmware and have more regen braking in Map 4. But that's about all that you can do.

    Sold Oset 24R 2020 for sale $2600 OBO. Price drop -$600 !!!

Selling the Oset 24R that I bought last year. I had fun with it in my backyard, and so did my wife, but she doesn't ride it much anymore. Bought it from a fellow EDR/AOF member last year (See here). The bike is fun, and the battery indeed lasts very long, sometimes several days of backyard...

But then again, some people won't like anything unless they had a role in tweaking it to their liking. Like, for example, this DIY laptop.

    Golden motors

Perhaps, being an MX guy who goes to race tracks and races occasionally, I do not fully understand the attraction of a custom DIY bike on an unknown origin. If I hit a big jump, I want to know that this has been done before, and that the bike will land without bottoming out and cracking the...
