Replaced the main battery? And also replaced the ACM? I might have to do a battery swap party tomorrow. Does the battery swap video exist somewhere, or are there any other instructions?

Checked maybe the connection to the display is bad, but the good bike will make noises even with the display completely disconnected, as I accidentally found out.

Tracked all three wires to the ECM connector. They all rang through.

The wire colors left-to-right are Black, Purple, Yellow. The black and the purple have 9V between them, so they must be okay. The yellow wire is a suspect.

In the key-off position the left and the right pins are connected. In the key-on position the middle and the right pins are connected.

Here is the key switch connector: There is 9V between the left pin and the middle pin on both bikes. If I short the right pin and the middle, then the good bike starts. But the bad one does not.

The key switch from the dead bike works on both bikes. I tried connecting a display from a good bike, but it didn't help. What's next?

Wanted to try but forgot. Now assembling everything back to try that.

Replacing the key switch didn't help. The 9V battery is reading 9.14V. What's next?

My #323 MXR won't start this morning. I topped off the battery before going to the track, everything looked good, but at the track I am turning the key and nothing happens. What could it be, and where should I start?? EDIT: A comprehensive summary is here.

I also installed those covers. They got all torn up on Day 1. I still have them, but they are barely protecting anything now.

Did that before I posted. To see the rotated pictures you should do a hard refresh Ctrl-F5 in Windows, or delete the cache on a mobile.

Apparently, you use it to upload complete firmware versions, with their maps. But the firmware is compiled using some other software tool, which probably was not available on dealer laptops. Turns out dealers could not edit maps themselves, even though one used bike salesman, as well as an...

Someone should spell out what's needed to make a working laptop out of this. Here is my guess list: 1) Software 2) Laptop (specs, running which OS) 3) One cable thingie 4) Another cable thingie.

I was just going to ask if there is any firmware that comes with this software. Very nice, thank you @416c7461, whoever you are. So will this allow us to flash-in our own new displays too? What else would you use this software for? Too bad we cannot pick up a phone and call Alta to ask...
