Maybe. But the AOF Store is not an auction, so you cannot bid, just buy at the listed price.

For Sale Parts now available for sale

I would recommend Michael sets initial prices and discloses the quantities available for sale (which is a standard feature in the AOF Store). Then raises the prices as the quantities reduce. The needy people will buy right away, or will be able to buy later at higher prices.

I do not think there will be volunteers to trade their kidney for toothpaste. Nobody that I know of has unneeded batteries.

Michael -- You could list the items for sale in the AOF Store. PM or call me if you like this option.

For Sale Parts now available for sale

Guys -- let's not turn this thread into a flame war. Else I would have to clean it up. @Cody129 -- If you think you got cheated, take this up with eBay. But keep in mind that the Alta's OEM front fender and MX/MXR number plate are 2009 CRF450 parts made by Acerbis. They even say so on the back...

MXR dead this morning... (and now alive!)

Nobody is letting anything go yet! I thought I'd pop it open tonight, but decided to wait until the spare parts arrive, so that the case does not sit open for days, with the desiccant drying the garage air.

You are already there. Not giving away my pack just yet.

MXR dead this morning... (and now alive!)

No need to worry yet. Lots of helpful guys here on this forum may have located the replacement parts for me already. I will have another battery poking and tinkering party tonight and hopefully later this week. If these battery parts help fix the issue, my original parts will be donated to...

    Alta kit bike

I would be happier with a smaller hot-swappable pack.

Welcome Alta owners and fans of Alta motorcycles!

    Happy Birthday, AOF!

    Alta kit bike

EVERYBODY -- Apparently, Alta never owned the motor's design. They never paid for it. You can still buy it from a guy in Taiwan. And I am sure they will help with the controller logic for it. The difficult patent to get around is the motor housing integrated with the frame patent. Tiveni, or...

    One-man battery removal setup

The bike looks great without the battery. This is telling me it would look awesome with a smaller battery.

    One-man battery removal setup

My one-man battery removal setup: Hooked up two tie-down straps up to the garage door rail to keep the bike upright. One strap to the handlebar to keep it from turning to one side. 8 bolts to remove the skidframe. All are 8mm Allen. 3 bolts to remove the battery. All are 8mm Allen...

MXR dead this morning... (and now alive!)

I have good news and bad news. The bike is running. But it took swapping the battery pack. So the battery pack is bad. Dead/muerto/morto/сдох/死. The dead battery pack is not working in a good bike.

MXR dead this morning... (and now alive!)

The bike wasn't washed, still dirty/dusty from the day before. The charge port pins look normal. I stuck the changing connecter there again without problems.

That would also allow folks to strap a second battery somewhere on the rear fender and double the range, LOL!

I am proud to say I have done that today. You do not need to remove the ACM to pop its cover and remove the battery. Just need to disconnect the connectors and wiggle it around.
