If I need a revalve, hopefully Alta will have the stiffer revalving specs ready for me again, like they had for my MX. Else, I might have to become creative.

I am taking it back. The "60" in the 60-260 is indeed the spring rate, measured in N/mm. My 2017 MX rear spring rate is 62 N/mm, and I upgraded it to 65 N/mm. I should be able to use my old MX spring on the new MXR, if needed!

Wow. According to MXA: "The 2016 KTM 450SXF and 2016-1/2 Factory Edition came with the 48 N/m shock spring. This spring was too stiff for anyone under 180 pounds. The 2017–’18 450SXF has a more appropriate 45 N/m spring." Alta has not got back to me on my shock stock spring rate question yet.

@MattB -- What is your stock 450 SX-F spring rate? I am thinking that if it is close to Alta's, which it should be, then we have a lot of options as far as suspension revalves.

Looks like it is just a big battery. You charge it from your house power and then use it at the track. It should be able to charge the Redshift twice. But that thing is huge and HEAVY at 276 lbs, even if one wants to spend $6K to buy it. It can be laid on the floor though between the bikes...

Measure twice, cut once. Use pieces of plywood or magazines under both tires to test exactly how much of the kickstand to cut.

In my experience, most motorcycle speedometers report 10% higher speeds. Not sure why they do it. It causes bikers to speed 20mph over and hurts the resale value.
