Post here your Stark Varg issues (or not!)

Have you reached out to Stark with that info? Asked them to confirm if they are or are not paying dealerships for warranty work? If they are not, maybe ask them what other solution there is for your bike since dealership won't release bike of not paid for labor?

Stark varg support is the worst

Interesting. You did get a new pair from Stark, so that was good. They'd made an update so likely you had the original design and they sent you the updated version. I suspect that riding damage would not be covered for those of us with the newer version. And not covering rider damage is...

Stark Varg ex speed limiter? 83mph

No reason to use another vehicle to pace you when there are so many apps that display "Speed over ground" via GPS calculation. And, relying on a pacer vehicle, that may have an innaccurate speedometer (especially at faster speeds), just gives you an inaccurate benchmark which is the exact thing...

    Varg MX 1.2

Yeah, pretty sucky. I built a bike with options for $12,930 and put in my cart. Once in the cart during checkout, it shows the $299 shipping, a titling fee from Ekho (with no way to remove that. I'll do the DMV title myself, thanks) and the $1,000 tariff, the total price becomes $14,269. Same...

You can. See our threads on it.

    Varg MX 1.2

On the US website for the MX 1.2, there is a new option to choose enduro suspension rather than MX suspension. Hurray! So no need to get an EX to get enduro suspension from the factory. Interestingly, it does NOT explicitly call out wheelset size, so not sure if the 18" rear wheel is still an...

    No difference between riding maps

With my Varg, it doesn't matter if phone is attached or not. All modes work as expected as they are stored in the bike. I agree with others. Go back and ensure the modes were saved after changing. They may have reverted. Once saved in the bike, you should be able to shift through the modes.

    VARG EX APP

I would have to see it. Isn't it subscription based? (Which i won't pay). And I already am entrenched in onX ecosystem and use it for everything. And can plot intended tracks and routes extremely quickly on home pc and they just show up in the app on all my mobile devices, plus it has trail...

    VARG EX APP

Went back and re-read the split screen post. The part I missed was the last bit about adjusting the split. My MX varg I'd tried split screen and it seemed to only do 50/50, which left both screens too small, but I found and turned off the varg apps "always on top" feature and so didn't dig into...

    VARG EX APP

Bummer this same thing won't work on the EX. It is such an important option to me. I'm still trying to decide between keeping my mx or selling and getting ex. Don't need street legal, but do value enduro suspension, larger battery, head/tail/brake lights. Also updates to harness, connections...

    VARG EX APP

Like in the thread @svtride linked to above, there are several ways you can do it. In my opinion, turning off the "display over all apps", in the Stark app, is the best. I use onX every trail ride (I have Varg MX) and it is so nice to have the map up the entire ride. True you can't see battery...

Performance difference from MX to EX?

Especially 4x4 with low range transfer cases...or a semi tractor. 😁

Performance difference from MX to EX?

One point of clarification is that I said tire diameter; not wheel diameter. This because wheel size doesn't mean overall diameter (or circumference) changes. That being said, you are correct that I got lazy and lumped tire diameter in with sprockets/gearing when mentioning torque at the rear...

Performance difference from MX to EX?

I wasn't aware there was a motor torque difference. Or are you talking about the deceptive rear wheel torque numbers some manufacturers are choosing to publish, which are pointless because they are simply multipliers of torque base on rear tire diameter, count of front and rear sprockets, etc.?

What is the correct adapter for a 50 amp RV outlet?

Right you are @AL_V. My head was in the TT-30 space. Duh. TT-30 is 120v and with L14-30 adapter will charge at 120v rate. 14-50R are 240v and the two poles can be split to 120v with an adapter. Or, both legs used to keep 240v (like with a NEMA 14-50P to L14-30R adapter you had linked) to get...

What is the correct adapter for a 50 amp RV outlet?

Keep in mind, that is only a 120v charger, so even though it will support 50amp of 120v, you will only get the same charge speed as a home 120v 15amp circuit (1,600watts); not the speed of a 240v (3,200watts). You probably know that already, but mentioning it for other readers. Still...

2025 Stark Varg rumors, changes, etc.

I went and edited my comparison post, a few posts up, to add the 2025 KTM Freeride and Surron Storm. Freeride and Storm are sometimes referred to as "7/8 size". Seems like the 902 may roughly fall into that category and not be "creating a new category". Also added if the battery is removeable...

2025 Stark Varg rumors, changes, etc.

I'll let the number speak for themselves, but in the video, Bonell claims the 805 is "ultrabee sized" and the 902 was sized at "a new category in the market. It's not quite a fullsized bike yet it's much larger and more capable than an Ultra bee sized bike". Not adding seat height because Bonell...

    EX Android app

So is that hp setting/adjustment chart based on, and only showing, hp at a given rpm at WOT? Setting hp by rpm seems like it will not get us where we want since we want a pop whether we are at 1,000, 3,000 or 5,000rpm, but changing hp will impact the ridability elsewhere. Seems we are missing...
