But KTM did develop a full size electric bike, KTM Freeride E-SX, so they are interested in the market. If they weren't they wouldn't have bought Altas. I'd also wonder if they had an "A" pack or an "R" pack, from my understanding the R pack helped with some of the thermal limiting issues...

I sent an e-mail to their Hirschmann's "info" address. I also sent an e-mail to Acerbis asking if it would be possible to do a large group buy of Alta plastics. The response was basically pound sand.

I called one of my local dealers and he said they are only taking "Service" orders? Not exactly sure what that means, but he was directly referencing an e-mail he got from Alta. Also, the Altamotors website won't show you the dealers near you, weird message pops up saying to contact...

But it's possible Hirschmann used the same potentiometer (I assume it's a pot) and just moved the throttle stops. In which case it should work fine, just takes more twist to do the same thing. I guess someone would have to buy one to check since we don't have specs on either of them.

Has anybody who ordered plastics got them? It seems to me these would go first, but would also be the the parts you stock more than anything else.

Yeah I was just thinking that. Maybe this should be a "Silent" auction where we PM Lyndon the Lot and our bid. Otherwise, public bids could get out of hand. I guess that's good for Lyndon though. I see the plastic sets being premiums for all of us.
