Can anyone tell me the height of the Alta mxr or similar from the ground to the top of the handlebars? I'm thinking of renting a U-Haul Van to drive down and keep the miles off my vehicle but I need to know if it'll fit in the back or not thank you

The more & more I dig into the Alta - reading between the lines I'm seeing a significant 'baseline' ie every bike behaves significantly different. From a standardized manufacturer seems odd to me.... Perhaps Steve jobs is hacking our firmware from the afterlife?

while it would be techno geek cool to adjust mapping to individual riding conditions or rider inputs but with regulations & such I dont see this ever happening from a budding manufactuer certaintly one that has their sights set as high as Alta's....

Negative - my apologies perhaps I need to take a big trailer up to BC & pickup a load of these European generators....

The more & more I think about it Simplicity rules a spare Alta battery is simply an intermediary and additional weight on the overall rig to the track I think we're just stuck with spending the big bucks on the nice quiet Honda generators. Got to kill those dinosaurs somehow? Same Theory applies...

or what if Alta sold battery packs to refill the bikes battery then you could leave that noisy generator refilling the 'charging' station while your out roosting @Judaslefourbe ;)

what if you drive a tesla 3 with a small toy hauler - can you forgo the generator completly & charge your Alta from your Tesla? :)

don't forget your high idle vehicle will be 'sipping' the petro to recharge that battery bank all day not to mention the wear & tear on your mode of transportation to the track!

That's what I'm looking for is an adapter to a110v outlet. Am I going to have to become a sparky or is something commercially ie quality available. Hate to burn up a 800$ charger or worse a 13k motorcycle...

My electric diamondback bicycle has this feature. Not very accurate as there are lots of variables but useless nontheless to estimate how long you have until you have to pedal that 60lbs bicycle pig up a hill !!
