I love this bike, but already have problems...

If you have a steady yellow light with the charger connected it means that the bike realizes that the charger is connected but doesn’t receive current. For example if you accidentally unplug the charger from the wall you should see that yellow light. If sometimes it turns blue, then maybe there...

Small display for the Stark Varg MX

I know about the OBD2 ports for cars, but I'm pretty sure that the Varg MX doesn't have such a port and the bike in the pictures of the first post looks like an MX, that's why @AL_V has asked about the connectors, apparently. As far as I remember, there are no connectors available in the MX. So...

Small display for the Stark Varg MX

Sorry to rain on your parade, but since you have recently written that you want to extend the warranty, are sure that you want to do this? @Stark71 warned us after all:

    Varg MX 1.2

And the truth is that, for example, the time in which you hear a weird noise from the right side of the engine and you remove the right side cranckcase cover, if the gasket breaks and sticks in part on one side and in part on the other you may need to spend like 10 € for a new one and 2 hours of...

    Varg MX 1.2

IMO the running costs of motocross bikes should always be considered when comparing how expensive two bikes are and it's difficult to do so with an electric bike because: 1-if you don't recharge at all at the track, like @Johnny Depp says he does, then the cost of electricity is only what you...

    Varg - Gear Oil Change

The Talaria Komodo has a breather hose, shown here at 11:55: And the part number STD-FI-0003 should be the valve to reduce the moisture passing through the breather hose of the Varg.

    Varg MX 1.2

Actually as far as I know that's one way in which EVs are supposed to be powered in an environmentally friendly way: you burn fuel in a more efficient manner than doing it directly in an engine using generators and then you use the electricial energy produced in electric motors whose efficiency...

    Varg MX 1.2

Here it is, at 39:42: faster charger for all the existing bikes :), probably coming at the end of this year. I suppose that it will be made to be installed in the stand and replace the existing one. It's surely an improvement to have that possibility, especially considering that a lot of people...

    Talaria Komodo

Just found out about this! link to Talaria's site with specifications Available as MX or L3E for enduro Wow, I would define it as a full size bike, maybe just a little smaller, like 9.5:10. The main features: - peak power: 32 kw - battery capacity: 4.4 kwh - weight: 98 kg - 10% → 80% SOC in 1...

    Varg MX 1.2

Some points from that video: • even though the nominal capacity of the battery has increased by 11% from 6.5 to 7.2 kwh, the range has increased by 20% thanks to the fact that the usuable energy has increased by more than that, which makes me and some AI I've consulted believing that there are...

Owner's Review Stark EX review from a slightly disabled

I think that you are the only person who can decide about this, it's your life. Besides, I agree that probably people don't understand. The only thing that I would suggest is that you try something very adrenalinic but less dangerous. IMO karting is less dangerous. Yes, I know that you can get...

    Gen1 to Gen2 question

I think that I would do that if I were in your shoes. The new wiring harness shouldn’t have any cables to connect to the gen 1 port, I guess.

    Varg MX 1.2

Now on their website the original MX is no longer an option and you can only order the MX 1.2, which, as far as I've understood, is the MX updated with the EX improvements: 7.2 kwh battery, Arkenstone, etc. The weight is still stated to be 118 kg like the first MX version. The price is 500 €...

Someone also suggested that, in such a scenario, one can just remove the rear wheel, get the chain off of the rear sprocket, and reinstall the wheel. I have never tried that, though.

    Kawasaki Ninja e-1 and Z e-1

But you see, the problem is that the most modern Varg you can buy is still basically like the first version and after all, in these two years from the first deliveries it doesn't seem to me that the more common ICE bikes have received any amazing improvement either, except for the questionable...

    Kawasaki Ninja e-1 and Z e-1

Probably none of us knows for sure why the giants are still not selling high performance electric motorcycles, but IMO it's not because they couldn't match Stark Future's technology, but rather because they have assessed that it's still not profitable or not enough. Here are a couple of examples...

    electronic clutch

I agree with you and I can't be sure about this without trying an electronic clutch but I still believe that I wouldn't like an additional lever on the left side of the handlebar because I like my rear brake lever to be there and I prefer LHRB to foot brake. I also think it's worth mentioning...

    electronic clutch

Typically, it is suggested that in motocross you don't use the clutch while braking. Personally, I dislike the feeling of a chattering rear wheel and I use the clutch anyways with gas bikes if the engine braking is high enough to generate chatter. My Varg, with regen at 40%, never chatters.
