Hi Scott, Based on this forum, it seems that 90% of Redshifts sold are MXRs. Does this correlate to your statistics as well? Or, is this a hard core motocross forum? 😉

The problem with strong regen is that it disturb the flowy nature of trail riding. But, perhaps I really do need to get more used to it

Consider the EX model as well. Arrives pretty much ready for endure, suspension wise. Also, lets you use the bike for doing your shopping and such, as it is Road legal..

Did anyone already encounter power limitation due to heat? For the first time today, the warning light turned on and piwer was restricted. Max speed was limited to 60mph (Redshift EX). Happened after 5-8 mintues of riding on the highway at about 65-69 mph. Temrature about 26 degrees celsius...

You'll need the fastawy's Yamaha YZ250F sleeve adapters to make the pegs fit.

I replaced the stock EX footpegs with the fastway Evo 3 footpegs in their lowboy position. The atock pegs, did just fine, and I felt comfortable on the bike ( I am tall at 1.9m). Since I had the fastway pegs already, decided to give them a go..

Just from the photos, it looks similar to my EX kickstand. I find it to be too long, and would like the bike to lean sideway a little more, is there an easy fix for it?
