I only had it connected for a few minutes, and it was charging noticeably faster than at 3.3kW. Charger fan came on immediately, unlike at lower power settings. The "Current charging power" was responding to the slider like usual. It's raining here for the next week, and I don't need the bike...

There was no update on the bike, and I'm pretty sure no update to the app as I was tinkering with it the other day. [v.2.6.1 now] So was it always there and they just unlocked it? We really need an insider to feed us Factory leaks.

Made me look. It really is there. It charged by 2% faster than it took to take a screenshot. This on 230V / 50Hz / 16A shuko plug.

What I would like to see first is definitive proof if fast charging is damaging the battery and to what extent. Ever since mobile phones came 30+ years ago I'm hearing about formatting, protecting and correct charging of batteries all the while general public is using and misusing those...

Houses in Europe and in the USA are not configured to output 6.6kW / ≈29A. It can be done, but it requires investment in wiring, adapters, sockets and an electrician. Quick search for what EV cars use shows the range of 500-1000$. Probably another 1-2000$ for the Stark turbo-charger...

If you're going to petition Stark about something make it the traction control. Advanced power mode aren't much more sophisticated than the standard power modes.

/off topic You joke, but you're not far off the point. In most rural areas there is only mono-phase wiring, and it's stretched to maximum possible distance from the trapho. Poor, old wiring and fuse box practices etc. In my cottage it takes significantly longer to boil 1l of water on the stove...

There can't be any significant cooling in that thing. Will you be able to handle it after 2h on 3.3kW charging? It will be toasty.
