Stark mobile charger is out !

Wich Gen was that teardown? Might very well be a Gen 1.0 and the 1.2 and EX having a higher rating as they thought of this future move...

    Stark ex or 1.2

That's due to the front suspension being slightly shorter on the EX.

Front sprocket not centered after install (Stark Varg EX) — normal or issue?

I just used force, came right off. You should just centre the ring, it's not that hard. Leave it like this and i'm pretty sure it will vibrate loose over time.

Racetorx or MotoZ Dual Brake Kit

I have the Racetorx one. Works fine but the brake line is just stupid. It's way to long so you're looping it somewhere in the bike and the banjo ends are so that they won't line up well unless you start cutting in the plastics. I bought some different banjo ends and a few sizes universal brake...

    Stark Varg sidestand bracket

Well the topic was derailed, but knowledge and viewpoint were shared so that counts as a win doesn't it? I have had some failure point over the past 2 years. Altough it is one of the first bikes though (just under number 1200) so i can forgive them for that. A lott of failure points we had back...

    Stark Varg sidestand bracket

Coverage may be an issue when falling on the side and some pointy rock sticks out. Has been with a few riders (broken of cooling fins). The question there is how far do you want to go and with what compromises? More coverage is less air and obstruction to where you can put your boots. But too...

    Stark Varg sidestand bracket

They don't say what you can and can't do with your bike. Just that it will void warranty (something you don't get with the competition anyways). And it's not voiding your warranty on the entire bike, just the part it is having an impact on. You can simply treat it like any other Enduro/MX that...

    Stark Varg SM

EU law doesn't make a difference between "Dual Sport" or any other bike. The big difference is it being a 1 person instead of allowing a passenger. 1 person bikes don't need to have ABS (the only mandatory item of the above list) by law. There are other than Enduro or Dual Sport bikes that also...

Stark mobile charger is out !

I don't know if the SM isn't a competition bike though. There sure are plenty of competitions for it to race in. However building that somewhere under the seat shouldn't have been to hard. Nice thing would have been if it was placed under the seat, but could be removed for competition use. I'm...

    Stark Varg SM

Indeed the MX/Enduro bikes were selling in huge numbers with very healthy margins.

    Stark ex or 1.2

The weight gap is the 19' being seriously lighter than the 18' and not having lights etc. The rest is the same in weight.

    Stark Varg SM

Also they've made a lot more bikes now. Scale could fix the gap of the more expensive bits.

Also depending on the tyre size the 17' doesn't need to be much smaller diameter than the 18'.

In this picture you see a hook that hooks to the footpeg.

Also labour costs are highly overestimated on bikes like these. There is just very little labour done compared to the costs of the materials. I highly doubt there is a serious gap in labour cost between Spain and India per bike like this. I guess at the very inefficiënt way of handbuidling the...

    Stark Varg SM

That caliper is nothing near 300 euro for Stark. If you order 1 or 2 it will be. If you order in multitudes of 100's or even 1000's prices tend to drop hugely. Sure those are expensive buts you point out. But i don't think there is a way for them to cheap out on it in a big way at this point...

    Stark Varg SM

True, but still they're outselling the roadbikes from Zero big time. There is a catch though. Zero pretty much makes "budget bikes" for premium money. And there is a gap that Stark does seem to understand. People are willing to spend premium, but only on premium. And how much extra does it...

    Stark ex or 1.2

Just order an extra 18' wheel with the 1.2? They are not that expensive. But you could also order the EX with MX suspension if you want that. Just keep in mind the EX is streetlegal, the 1.2 isn't.

    Stark Varg SM

I think the savings mentioned are far less. The toolbox will maybe cost them a €100, the stand is needed for the charger, if not for the charger that stand is just a pressed sheet of metal with a rubber top, can't be much more expensive to produce then €15. Wich premium parts? Suspension? The...

    Stark Future next models

You could also just opt for an extra wheel. You can just order that and they're not even that expensive.
