    Range Increase Software Update Released

I’d love someone like Tucker at ECR to do one of his range tests comparing pre software update to post software update. I’m skeptical there is any significant range increase, unless they were intentionally limiting battery drain % to a large degree with the bikes they have already delivered...

how to put the bike on a stand without help from others

I found my Alta (which is close to the Varg weight) to be difficult to get onto my bike stands. I'm 63 with some health issues so I really feel the weight. I used a pedal lift stand in the garage, and a triangle when out riding for parking the bike. I also found the Alta annoying to just move...

    Dust Moto

It appears to be another 7/8 size bike. What's with all the 3/4 and 7/8 size bikes? These guys are killing me here.

Charged Cycle Works - Stark Varg vs Ultra Bee Trail Ride Test

I literally just wrote this ^^ in the post right above your's. So yes, I've looked into the Storm Bee months ago when it was released, and am not interested in a 280 lb porker with questionable suspension for single track riding that I mentioned that I like to do. If I wanted a porker for...

Charged Cycle Works - Stark Varg vs Ultra Bee Trail Ride Test

280 lb porker on single track? No thanks, Lol.

Charged Cycle Works - Stark Varg vs Ultra Bee Trail Ride Test

Hi Don, thanks for the info and encouragement. I've seen your builds here and they are impressive. I just sold my Alta MXR (loved it, but not the weight and no factory support) and am back to riding my nicely setup '16 Husky FE350 which works pretty good for me, although it is getting a bit long...

Charged Cycle Works - Stark Varg vs Ultra Bee Trail Ride Test

I'm pretty sure the Dragon isn't full sized so its not a fit for me at 6'5".

Charged Cycle Works - Stark Varg vs Ultra Bee Trail Ride Test

"No amount of money or ingenuity can shave 60 lbs off a Varg ..." Exactly. For single track riding, I agree completely and that is why I cancelled my Varg order (plus all the delivery hassles). If I was shopping for a single track e-dirt bike, the Ultra Bee would be my top pick at the moment...

EM Factor-E Trials: 4-speed transmission, Flywheel, and Clutch

Very interesting, can't wait to hear the reviews on it. And when are they going to develop and sell a full sized MX/enduro bike? Seems like the next logical step for them. Perhaps they're waiting for next gen batteries to come out to allow a better power to weight ratio.

    Varg charging from generator.

I agree with this strategy. I liked the B&S Q6500 for my Alta, its now my home backup power generator. Ps: so many maths in these posts, Lol.

History being made with @jackbrunell155 taking the first Arenacross Victory in Round 2 of @arenacrossuk + taking the championship lead

The inevitable has started, Lol: "Stark Future’s Jack Brunell scored an emotional win in the Traxxas Pro main event win tonight at Manchester’s packed-out AO Arena for round 2 of the 2024 British Arenacross Championship" .

    Dealership delivery

There is no "Stark" process for this as far as I can see. Stark isn't proactively working on any work arounds to get bikes in the hands of the early order peeps who are in the states where the direct to consumer sale bikes cannot be shipped directly to the customers. It appears that if you...

    Dealership delivery

You forgot the part about the bike being advertised as 240 lbs and it then ballooning to 260 lbs. Add in all the other crap you already mentioned and I believe I am due a refund on my deposit. I upheld my end of the deal, Stark did not, not even close. Requested a refund, it was refused...

    Dealership delivery

Stark has significantly ramped up production in the last few months. There was a video released recently talking about it, I forget how many bikes a day they are currently producing and that number is supposed to be increasing. I also suspect they have been getting a fair amount of order...

    Throtle Problem Alta

I'm no expert on Alta issues, but if it's your throttle, I believe there were 3 different types of throttles put on the Altas over the years. Liquid Performance on ebay has this model, note the connector style: Alta Motors THROTTLE ASSEMBLY, OVERMOLDED [2100664-04] | eBay. Liquid Performance...

AMA and Electric Motorcycles in AMA/FIM races

The AMA has been a joke for years. I stopped wasting my membership money with them years ago and now support my local off-road organizations that actually fight for trail access and get things done like partnering with gov't and other trail user groups to maintain existing trails, and open new...

    Some info regarding US orders/deliveries

I got that email and was like what the heck? Trailsaver! Who packs a hatchet to do trail work? Does it come with a black hipster mock turtleneck too? Whip it out after you pull up to the trailhead in your Cybertruck? Lol. Trail work: a machete, yep, folding Silky saw, definitely, small chain...

    Fly Like An Eagle

Ouch, my nuts are aching from here, Lol. And am I seeing it right? Looks like the rear wheel is not spinning, or even freewheeling when he lands? If the rear brake is on, he's effectively levering the front end into the ground when the bike lands. Not the best technique.

    Some info regarding US orders/deliveries

That's the latest rub for the early order peeps. Wait on your early order bike at the original price and get it who knows when? Or cough up the coin for a higher priced bike and get it within a few weeks? That's a good idea to offer that dealership allocated inventory to the early order...
