I’ve had the chance to check out the Arctic Leopard E-XE 880, and I’ve gotta say, it’s a solid electric dirt bike. One of the things that stands out is how smooth and quiet the ride is, which makes it great for trails where noise can be an issue.

I am supposed to be having my EX800 delivered on Friday. I ordered it two months ago. I want it as an Eastern single track bike. I have been riding my Altas for several years now and am extremely happy with them. The two differences in the EX800 are reduced weight (maybe 50+pounds) and larger range (maybe as much as 60-70mi). Time will tell.

They list 137mi as a range, so I cut it in half to get a more reasonable estimation. The best I ever got on the EXR was a loop from Ouray, down BleackBear to Telluride, back up Imogene, And back to Ouray. I helped that the last 11mi were down hill otherwise I would not have made the 40mi loop.

My dreams of owning an EXE880 are gone I bought a WR250R electric conversion bike =P

Oh yeah ECR did a fullsize e-dirtbike shootout video and the EXE880 was in it check it out. Also I was talking to Nate from Charge Cycle Works and he is saying they've had the bike for a while and it seems be holding up well.

That may be, but keep in mind that Charged sells Arctic Leopards, so his take is a little biased. Your money with probably better spent on your conversion.

I have heard a lot of stuff about Arctic Leopard quality and not good stuff to be honest. I would still love to take one for a ride. I think as a trail bike it's still the best.
