Very nice thank you for posting … I do wonder how much the stock one weighs and if this one adds any weight ?
No watch the video at 1.13I have the same question, did you re-use the foam?
Good points but have you seen anyone damaging the battery from a fall?I would not be putting that axp guard on my bike better off with the standard guard then add a few bits of rubber or plastic.
To be honest I just do not think the stark is the bike for the job, Stark pay taddy and the guy in the lumberjack shirt good money to make there bikes look good. The thing is they have the skill to keep the front wheel up to keep the battery away from smashing rocks etc, if they do get it wrong and smash the battery they will have plenty more in the back of the truck.
Us bunch of wobblers are much more likely to smash the battery on the ground, not a problem for a well designed bike with frame rails and a good strong sump guard.
I agree. I have a set of case covers ordered. Trying Endurohog Ebay. Brake pedal tip also broke very easy. I ordered left hand brake but with the option on keeping rear foot brake active. Varg OEM skid plate is garbage it broke just looking at a rock ledge. All that plastic and still no protection of the gear case cover for when you lay the bike over or hit something head on in a rock garden. The bottom protection looks great but what I ride my bike is constantly sliding down rock faces and being flipped around on hill climbs I didn't make. The bike needs to be protected on all sides!
No I have not but I have not been around any extreme enduro since the stark has been out. Stark made big efforts to keep weight down the first footpegs are a good example, as an educated guess I would say that the battery case is strong enough just to do what it needs to do.Good points but have you seen anyone damaging the battery from a fall?
I've seen cracked cases but nothing on the battery.
