Well, we've made some positive progress lately. While the state of Alta is basically still in limbo, some good things have developed in the last month, but the last 10 days specifically has been full of good things (for once) for Alta owners.
Lets look back on some of the progress;
@racer726 has produced a more durable front chain slider, taking care of one of the earliest problems Redshift owners were experiencing, many owners have purchased his sliders and are reporting good things. You can read about it HERE
@Trialsman designed and put into production an "Alta Vault" to protect the vulnerable and expensive displays from being squashed in a wreck. His display guards started shipping early this week! You can read more about it HERE
@AltaWest announced that he has purchased some parts from the Alta assembly line and will be looking to help support these bikes and potentially may develop battery repair options in the future. Read more HERE
@querlenker announced that he is developing an premium alternative display option that will offer additional features. @schwankl then let it out that he was also looking to develop a very affordable basic display alternative. Check out the discussion HERE
@Rashid510 had some news we were all waiting for... original equipment replacement displays! Rashid510 will be working to solve additional technical support issues for us as well. The announcement is HERE
I hope I'm not forgetting anything... it's been a busy week! Lets hope the good news keeps coming.
