They will just extend your current warranty by the amount of time you didn't have access to your bike.
Mine was down for about a month for the dealer to replace the battery, son they added a month to my original warranty.
is there anywhere i can see my remaining warranty somewhere specific? or it counts on our Stark profile on the purchase/delivey dates?

In your profile in Stark's site, in the vehicles section or in the Varg app in that section that shows information like suspension setting and rear rim size.

Re: Warranty. I need to look into this further... but it seems that for bikes sold in Spain, the warranty starts from first registration and legally has to be for 3 years (as of road vehicles sold since 2022).

interesting... mine starts from the day it arrived at my house because i registered 2 weeks before and on my profile it says 25 april which is the delivery date. Warranty until 25 april 2027, so 2 years... we need to see if those 3 years could be possible but then Stark will have differents timelines depending on the country, i dont know how that works

☝️ Hey this is a great tip!! I went and checked my warranty and it was a year too short.

I am not exactly sure how this happened but with my second Varg the bike I got was actually pre-ordered by somebody else who backed out. I am thinking that my dealer did a transfer and didn't update the paperwork properly.

Anyway this is the second hiccup I have had with my Stark paperwork glad you posted this. TY.

You're welcome. In my case, the warranty ends two years after the date in which I collected the motorcycle from the dealer.

i think im going to extend for 2 years more my warranty when its near expiring... 999€ is good and bad at the same time, but i dont want to pay 3999€ for a battery if it broke when my warranty ends, i had a motor replacement, bad things can still happen unafortunately... maybe 1 year for 599 could be also good

i think i can save 999€ in a year and a half, my Varg is staying with me for as long as i can :ricky:

UPDATE FROM STARK, my dealer can't fix my bike and it seems that my problem is unique, first time they encounter it

The dealer received the powertrain, installed it, and unfortunately, the problem persists after testing the motorcycle.
I'm currently analyzing it with the engineers, and it's an issue we haven't encountered before.
It appears there's interference in the throttle signal that affects performance while riding.
We've replaced all the components that could affect this signal without resolving the problem.
The engineers and I have decided to replace the throttle body again to be absolutely certain we haven't missed anything.
Once again, we apologize for the inconvenience and hope to resolve this as soon as possible.

Now i have to wait another 2 weeks for the shipping of the throttle, i told them if is possible to do a quick urgent shipping, that i will pay the extra cost

Is this the original problem or a second, different problem after the dealer worked on it?
My money is still on the human factor and some mistake in assembly.

the original problem was solved after the drivetrain replacement, but then the stuttering problem with the throttle appeared. After changing the wiring harness, docking station, and throttle body, it seems they're going to change the throttle again (doesnt make sense to me).

I also think it was the mechanic's fault, but I don't understand what he could have done wrong to cause this and why it's still happening after changing all these parts. The wiring is difficult to install incorrectly, it's very simple. The motorcycle is like an easy puzzle.

Lets see...

Your mechanic has 100% damaged something in the wiring and Stark is reading it as a signal fault. I'd guess a connector, pinched wire or similar.

Remember when I said this dealer was incredibly unprofessional? Well, I still think so, and I'm starting to believe that to avoid paying for the damage he caused himself, there's probably a faulty connector somewhere, and he's not telling Stark anything. Then they go crazy, not knowing exactly what to do. Although, it's still strange that after replacing all the wiring, the docking station, and the throttle, it's still happening. The motor/inverter, battery, and VCU are supposedly in good condition.

Just two weeks ago, another official dealer opened near my house. It's a shop specializing in high-performance electric scooters, and apparently, they have good knowledge of electrical system assembly and repair. If I have another problem in the future, I'll take my scooter to them, not this incompetent guy.

I already sent Stark an email the other day complaining in detail about this dealer, and they thanked me for bringing it up and said they'd be keeping a close eye on it.

Stark should just send you a brand new bike. Those nimrod mechanics likely caused some problem. Stark can't expect customers to deal with their incompetent dealer and then play whack-a-mole with troubleshooting and rebuilding the bike a part at a time.

Enough is enough. If I were you, if throttle 3 doesn't fix it, ask to speak to a higher up or if that doesn't work let them know some kind of consumer claim is going to filed. You are a good customer and willing to work with them, at some point they need to make sure you get what you paid for.

Despite wanting to tell them to go to hell and say a bunch of nasty things, I've held back and always been very understanding, patient, and trusting, but everything has its limits.

I don't think they'll give me a new bike. I imagine they want to save as much as possible, and as long as the motor and battery are in good condition, which are practically 70% of the bike's price, they're not going to give me a new one.

They should have let me do the assembly myself, but that would have voided the warranty. There's nothing like fixing a bike yourself; when someone else touches it, they don't do it with the same care.

They told me few says ago they will extend my warranty, let see if its true

Yes I definitely agree with those who say not to complain too much or say nasty things it will be counter productive.

They do respond to calm direct action. I had a problem with parts and went back and forth many times. Finally I calmly said "I will have to contact my credit card company and stop payment" my problem was solved the next day. No yelling, arguing, or getting angry. I am not sure if you have consumer action union where you live, but sometimes just the threat of that or similar will spur action.

You haven't had a viable bike --what you paid for-- in months. My friend that is not acceptable. Imagine the bad pub alone if you were a hater or annoyed to the point of more public posting. Sometimes those customer support folk on the front line don't get the ramifications.

i have a consumer action union here, i think I'm going to start compiling all the information i have from the emails with Stark, where they tell me to keep waiting, be patient, etc., and I'll try to file a complaint with Stark and another with the Consumer Action Union. I'll try to demand a new motorcycle.
But i think I'll give them one last chance to see if changing the throttle fixes the problem. It's a shame because the motorcycle was working perfectly; it only had the problem of not charging past 78%, but otherwise it was perfect.
