Solved HELP Power jerking after Drivetrain replacement (GEN2)

That's great that they are replacing your bike!
But I think you should discuss the details with Stark.
I'm thinking they will want to ship your new bike to a dealer, and if you don't want them to ship it to the dealer that has your current bike, you should make that clear to them.
Regarding your aftermarket parts, I would first try to get the dealer that has your bike to let you swap back the stock parts.
And regarding the MX suspension, why do want that? I have an MX Varg with the lightest springs and it's too stiff for anything except jumping triples on an MX track.
If your EX was too soft, look for an EX with heavier springs.
And Congratulations!
I think i want to do more jumps (not huge jumps) than enduro and a MX suspension could be good for that, but i dont care too much. Heavier springs like you said should be okey and i can order them from the website.

And yes, i already told them that i want the bike to arrive at my house not to the dealer, he is a terrible dealer and i think he end the contract with Stark today

That's actually the best out come!

I'd speak to Loar, based in Madrid. Lolo was an absolute star to work with and he and Stark have a good relationship. I'd imagine that he'll have what you want and Stark can facilitate it.

Awesome. So happy for you!! I am traveling and usually don't log on. But a new bike is what I am glad to hear.
Thank you so much, my friend. You have a kind heart

I want to make it clear that, aside from all the trouble this has caused me, Stark has been incredibly helpful and professional throughout the entire process. A lot of time has passed between testing new parts to locate the error, but that's unavoidable. They've gone step by step and done what they had to do. I couldn't ask for more. STARK FUTURE is working well for the moment, and we should be happy about that.

I didn't quite understand... do you mean that i should speak to Loar? i saw them on instagram... i dont know, i think Stark should do that job... I think the bikes in stock are also at the Stark factory itself right? or are they only distributed by dealers?

I told stark earlier that i see one on the "bikes on stock" paragraph on the web that will suit me because is the same as mine but in white, i dont care about the colour, dont want a colour to delay my delivery

mine was all basic, 60hp, stock tires, medium sus, no titanium, no brake covers... just like those below

No sorry, what I ment was if Stark didn't have what you want, then check Loar as their range is pretty impressive and Stark could could contact them for you.

depends on his use. I have the hard EX suspension but weight mid 90's in my birthday suit so use the full suspension travel on the biggest jumps at my local track.

You'd probably be fine moving from medium to hard then.
Please help me with this... i think the medium enduro sus will be too soft for the jumps at my local track. Right now i cant jump the Big jumps but i can do the smaller ones, at some point i want to do the big ones aswell, im going to train

In this video i attached below you can see my local track and jumps, and the guy riding is my dealer with his EX, he do a MX test with the EX to see the performance and the result are that the medium sus was too soft, he weight 95kg with gear and i weight 85.

Thats why i want the MX sus and then ill have a Road legal MX weapon

Please see this video:

yea you can see he bottoms out on some of the harder landings. If you're 85kg and mostly ride enduro and road then the hard enduro is probably best for you. I'm heavier than you and ride track on weekends and commute in SM setup during the week. So i'll get harder suspension eventually. I never go over 60hp on the track or with dirt tyres, but you can use 80HP when on the road with SM wheels.
I know you plan to buy some SM wheels so if I was you, i'd upgrade to 80hp if i could and use EX hard suspension, or med MX suspension.

at this moment i think i will ride more MX than Enduro... i like to jump more but im not a pro either. I have 20 years experience in mountain bike jumps (i was able to do some very big ones), downhill and BMX so i kknow i have possibilities to be good with a Motorcycle aswell but im just starting...

Then my enduro riding is not really enduro, i just go offroad to explore my island, but the roads are very normal, just loose dirt, some little low speed roots and nothing i can not do with a harder MX suspension i think... 8 years ago i was able to do the same "enduro" roads with a KYMCO 125cc scooter, so that makes it clear hahaha
Also i think the harder MX sus will be better for SM street riding too, you know, go to work, ride with Husq 701 friends i have etc

I will talk to Stark and see if they can give me the new bike with MX Med sus since the price is not affected

Thanks!!

In less than 24 hours i got my new bike selected and ready to ship.

I thought I'd get a higher VIN, around 8000 or so, but I got 37**... is this normal? I think the bike is several months old. I'm a little worried about the battery's condition, since it might have been sitting in the box for months.

I wonder how they maintain the batteries health of the bikes they've had unsold for months, since I don't think they can charge them in the box.

i think the bike is from May 27 wich is the start date for the warranty, to be honest im not happy to receive a bike that is 7 month old even though it has not been used... i dont trust the health of that battery

And the warranty should change to the date I receive the bike, just like my previous one

someone has any thoughts?

Those batteries will be charged to a storage level when leaving production, so they easily can bridge 12+ months. I wouldn't worry about that. The other point is the age of the cells - is it older than your original Varg? If no, you would not have a disadvantage, just a little less win..
After all your hassle with the old bike, I think your deal looks satisfying.

Interesting though that they have bikes from May in storage. Certainly means that their production capacity now is not outpaced by demand.

They surely know how to preserve the battery.
If the expiry date of the new bike isn't worse than the original one that is going to be replaced, it seems acceptable.
If I recall correctly, you've said that you have ridden your bike for something like 160 hours; in that case, it's quite a deal since to receive a new one.
I would be Ok with this from what I know of the situation.

My original one had VIN 16** and this one is 37** so it should have newer cells i guess...

as you said, is curious that they still have bikes from May just siting there...

maybe every X number of sells they manufacture X number of bikes that aren't exactly custom orders from customers, but rather bikes manufactured to cover problems like my replacement needs or to have pre-configured models ready for quick shipment

But the thing is, I haven't been able to enjoy a completely new motorcycle. The previous one was new, but it was faulty from day one, with the battery charging limit at 78%. And now this one is seven months old. I don't know, I was looking forward to paying for something brand new and made just for me, but that's not the case. It's not a big deal, though.

I have to talk to them because I find it unacceptable that the warranty only starts from the manufacturing date of May 27th and not from the day I received it that they currently say is January 17 2026, just like what happened with my previous one. That's 7 lost months from 2 years

To summarize it to you, my original bike arrived on April 25, 2025, and the warranty started that day. It was produced in early March because it was a custom order, not a prefabricated model. The new bike was apparently manufactured on May 27, and the warranty also started on May 27, meaning it only has one more month of warranty than the original. But I don't think it should be like that, and that my warranty should start the day I receive it, just like the other one. Besides, I was able to use the original for seven months, but only with 78% battery available

At a bare minimum, they owe you a warranty from the day you received your original bike PLUS the amount of time you haven't been able to ride it.
OR, 2 years from the time you receive the replacement bike MINUS the time you were able to ride the original bike.
But, with that said, I would hope they just give you the full 2 years from the date you receive the replacement bike.
And, just so you know, they can adjust the warranty, they added a month on to mine to compensate for the month it took for the dealer to replace my battery.
EDIT: also, if the bike is not your preferred color, they would probably agree to send you a new set of plastics.
