Who else is loving crawl mode

Love the reverse on downhill reverses after not making a hill. So much more controlled than the rear brake, doesn't lock up directly and you can let go without the bike tumbling down.

    New Stark Discounts/Stock Tube Issues

I will however send them an e-mail when their plated enduro comes out. As an early adapter i paid premium and my bike is less sellable than a newer one. Prices droppen €2000 since then. The write-off will be substantional. Maybe they are willing to offer a good trade in deal on the plated...

    2025 KTM Freeride E

Sorry, can't find the video. Come to think of it i might have compared 2 video's. There was one that showed a rear wheel torque of a 450 in all gear so you got an ever lower graph. Torque output on the rear wheel was also tested for a Stark wich was flat for a very long time. It was not this...

    2025 KTM Freeride E

Depends, if it brings a more solid feel to the frame it might be considered a win. The problem with the Stark is it being a 2 or 3 man job since you need to lift the bike from the battery. Of the under 10 minute job is a 1 person job it's workable i guess since few are going to race this bike.

    2025 KTM Freeride E

I will look it up when at home, don't want to waste data on YouTube videos i've seen a while ago. It was very clearly a Torque graph.

    2025 KTM Freeride E

There was a dyno video of the Stark and an YZ450. Didn't you forget the sprocket ratio? True peak torque is only in First gear, in said dyno video they did all the gears.

    2025 KTM Freeride E

I very much agree the Stark is not ideal for hard enduro and 80hp is way over the top, but some 35-40 ish would be my minimal. And it sure would very much depend on what kind of terrain. With some near vertical hill climbs in it 25hp turn pretty weak pretty soon. In hard enduro i mostly use my...

    2025 KTM Freeride E

Sorry to say, but you are very much wrong on torque numbers. The ICE numbers you quote are at the crankshaft. After all reductions a 450 does high 800's near 900's of Nm's at the rear wheel. Torque numbers are good and all. But torque doesn't move you, power does. The Stark on 45 HP is very...

    2025 KTM Freeride E

Put a Stark in 25hp and ride an hard enduro, will be very disappointing.

    2025 KTM Freeride E

25 hp is too little for hard enduro (let alone classic enduro), even for amatures. It's a trainer bike, a gateway drug so to speak. Everything on and about this bike (as for the 250/350) is made to give starters an as easy ride as possible doing fairly easy stuff. And that is a good thing...

Flux Performance - eMX startup from Europe

Years past the first post but will still answer to it as if i did not have a Stark allready (wich i'm very happy with). Full power bike: -45kW -112kg -6kWh, 400V battery -liquid cooled motor and inverter with geared reduction So some questions for you (some might seem silly, but please humor...

    New Stark Discounts/Stock Tube Issues

Here in the Netherlands it's €11,999 incluiding all taxes and shipment delivered at the dealer. That's way cheaper than the KTM's and almost inline with the Japanese that sit around the €10.500 mark. Only Suzuki is way cheaper but that's an ancient kickstarter design. Sad for us early...

    New Stark Discounts/Stock Tube Issues

It's my money as an early adapter. Offcourse i would have loved the prices of new ones to stay were the were, but i knew this bike is cheaper to build than a ICE, so prices would come down. I just hope second hand prices will stay good enough until i got the change to buy the plated enduro when...

    New Stark Discounts/Stock Tube Issues

Agreed with the above. Buying a brand new model from a brand new brand is the best way to overpay and have startup issues. But also consider this. Everytime KTM/Beta etc come out with a new model the previous one dropps a 1000 euro to get them out of the showrooms. So far i know both have come...

    Yamaha 2000w generator/inverter

Put the Stark in under 2000W charging and it will work. I have a 4000W generator and sometimes i have to use other power consumers parallel to the Stark. Then i just optimise the Stark. Generator power - other load - 200W safety = charging mode on the Stark. So in your situation i would charge...

    New Stark Discounts/Stock Tube Issues

As an early adapter you know you're going to pay big and will have development issues. Same here and all bikes now have a 1000 euro discount. But for that we got to be a few of the first with such bike and the fun that comes along. Those tubes arn't made cheap, they are made light. We have the...

    Half sized race battery?

I was the one talking 30 minutes motos. That is in the Netherlands and at nationals level. Amatures ride 15 minutes + 1 lap. But even faster amatures drain 50-70% in such races. A few people i know drain theirs empty in roughly 20-25 minutes and those arn't even top amature riders. I on the...

    Stark actually profitable... kinda

I think Stark should make work of their enduro to keep in the profit margin. You would need very strong arguments to convince me to sell my Varg, but a plated enduro version that is roughly the same to the Stark might be one. That way you could sell a second bike to the same people or have them...
