Did anybody on the forum shell out the 2 grand for a service laptop? Last time I inquired that was the only OEM option available for interfacing with the bike.

I had one crash related issue that required a new dash from Alta. Smashing the dash disables the bike entirely. I am going to be a lot more careful in the future!

how much $$$ are you looking to get for it? I haven't decided what my price point is for getting a second one since I don't really *need* one, but if any on the market go on 'fire sale', I will likely snag an extra. Perhaps we should start a thread for folks looking to ditch their bike(s)...

Data point - that is a :D2017mx vs 2018ex. P0wn is probably right about battery chemistry difference, plus I see some weird firmware behavior regarding battery level reported while charging. Bigger factor is that he is slow tho 😂

Grazie. I found one on ebay for a reasonable price that is worth trying to bend up. Now if clake can ship in time... Do you have pics of your hose routing? I am hoping that the DIY setup is going to leave less of the hose exposed to future smashings.
