When I looked into it the size generator you would need to handle the step up transformer would typically be 240v anyhow, at least that’s what I came up with. There is no free lunch here unfortunately.
Unreal. To say Altas racing efforts have been followed by a black cloud would be an understatement. Good luck (sarcasm) to the thieves trying to sell those bikes. Gonna be real hard not to get noticed.
From what everyone is saying it sounds like this is the way to go. Paul at Highland Park also has his MX geared way up, I think he even dropped a bunch in the back.
What would be awesome to see in the future is some sort of “economy” gauge/meter that would let you estimate how long you could go at the pace you are riding. Something you could toggle on the screen that would be big enough to see in a glance.
I really enjoy hearing these stories where Alta goes above and beyond for customer service. Sure there are going to be some unfortunate situations that come up but they are certainly trying to keep everyone happy it seems.
