It’s going to happen at some point, now is too soon IMO.

I’d say at this point there are no known “major” problems other than most agree the shock needs some tweaking. I’d love to tell you there is no reason not to go for it, but honestly these are just too new to say for sure, and not having a dealer is going to be a problem for you sooner or later.

I agree. This would be how it would go; 1. Owner pushes the limits of the technology 2. Owner posts all over social media how his bike melted down without mentioning the part that he tampered with the settings 4. News of this unreliable new technology spreads all over the internet

Is it possible our Altas aren’t actually charging to 100% even though they tell us they are for this reason? Similar to how they are not really dead when you run the battery down?

I don't doubt what you guys are saying! I am guilty of being overly sympathetic with them I guess. Hopefully they are taking notes and will have it fixed for next year.

Well I am certainly glad to hear sales are strong. I sorta figured since we were provided with standard chargers that we should be prepared for a wait, I was just curious if there was a time frame yet. Thanks for the reply (y)

I have no doubt there is truth to this. They have a lot on their plate and learning things every day I’m sure. Chasing the ideal suspension set up is a challenge that all the manufacturers are constantly striving for, and they have decades of experience at it.

Yeah I was puzzled by the hard enduro thing. Not sure how that would work as far as the battery. I think the bike would have as many advantages as disadvantages as far as the lack of a clutch in such a situation, but someone who has Graham Jarvis clutch skills isn’t going to go for it. But...

Does anyone have any insight as to when Alta will catch up to the fast charger orders? @Judaslefourbe ?
