The most convenient thing then would be to just leave it on the bars, disconnect it, and then plug it back in after the race. Great piece of advice @allesad !

So close! I can see the need for some way to lock in a particular map for racing. Too easy to accidentally bump it into the wrong map and too hard to see the map number on the display in a race situation.

Have to mount an air horn on the bars....

@Fog 25 is having pretty good results with map 4 and a gearing change as far as battery life.

I should have thought to measure that line... sorry! Although I think if you are going the single line set up you may as well just buy the Alta line providing it’s not unreasonable expensive. Probably not a lot to be saved trying to source it somewhere else if that’s the way you end up going.

If it is just a standard KTM master you can get them on eBay for around $175ish. Then you just need the hose for whatever that might cost. I honestly don't think I'll miss the foot brake so I'm fine with ditching it.

I agree, new dealers are popping up every week though it seems. I’m hoping for one closer to home, I have 3 dealers all a little over two hours from me.

I just got my Alta LHRB yesterday, going to work on installing it possibly tonight. If there is anything I can look for that doesn’t require me to disassemble the master let me know and I will.
