    Canadian safety standards compliance

Mine is not registered, meaning it can't be insured for off road use in BC. I still have a competed form 1 that is stamped in the exempt box as being for closed course use only.

Did you already go through the RIV process? I know that here I can't register it without stamped paperwork from the RIV

I'm out in BC. If you figure out how to register your bike let me know. I had to declare it as a competition vehicle.

What model? When I imported mine, I looked down every road imaginable to try and get it registered. Maybe now that Alta is no more, maybe it's worth trying to go about registering it as a "custom" built motorcycle

Want to buy Right Side Number Plate

If it's cracked along the top line, you can secure them pretty well with safety wire. Been running mine like this for over a year. Only replaced the wire once, as the holes started getting larger, and it was a little wobbly. I can get you some closer pics if you like.

Talk me into buying an Alta. Talk me out of buying an Alta.

https://www.oldtimersmx.com There are actually a buch of events along the West Coast. I hope to get to more of them one of these years. Each round is a 5 moto format over two days. 15 to 20 minutes depending on your class. Two years ago here I had the only Alta. Last year in BC there were...

All the PNW guys should come up to BC for the old timers MX race in August 👍

    What might have been

This is too crazy. It might be cheaper to get everyone a set of carbon fiber "plastics" which is still not cheap. Our best bet is to find out from Acerbis how many pieces we need to order for them to do a run.

    Honda CR Electric! Yes!

Donn Maeda posted some "answers" he got about this bike from American Honda. I think it will be awhile until we see anything we might actually purchase. Answers About Honda's Electric MX Bike - Swapmoto Live

    Honda CR Electric! Yes!

I'm saying make a CanAm moto bike. They already own the design. One that IMHO is better than what Honda is showing.

    Honda CR Electric! Yes!

At the very least, I hope BRP is taking notice of all the hype. They could easily steal Honda's thunder in a heartbeat if they were so inclined.

    Honda CR Electric! Yes!

It looks interesting, but I'm not going to hold my breath. There is a long line of prototype Honda products that never made it to production.

My best advice would be to find a used one with a good amount of hours on it. Hopefully that way you will be safe from any battery issues
