    BAD NEWS

You are correct, at least for cars so motorcycles are probably the same. Now if the company is out of business, who do you hold accountable to make/supply the parts? If Alta shuts down completely, we are probably on our own.

Did you keep your old bike?

Never get rid of toys, almost impossible to get them back. My goal is to catch up with @John Lindemann before I die. I am on @Judaslefourbe's n+1 plan. :ricky:

How much is it costing you to charge?

In Idaho we pay about 0.085/kw, but I have solar on my house that produces about 95% of my electric usage, including the bike and my electric car, so next to nothing for me. :ricky:

Ty Tremaine To Race Redshift EXR In 2018 Endurocross Series

Absolutely. I regularly draw 3C out of the Lifepo4 batteries in my car and have seen them go as high as 10C (1800A out of a 180AH cell) when shorted out. That was just a test, but it did it for a couple of minutes and actually turned a 1 inch wrench red hot and bent it from the current, but...

    Compatible with Charging Stations?

@Speedkills you might want to try Modular EV Power. They seem need to have a number of J1772 adapters available and may respond better than TucsonEV. I have used Modular's AVC2 in my converted car and it worked well. The other option would be to piece together your own adapter box. The...

    External Charger Fault???!!!

I wonder if the power from the generator is dirty and the dirty power causes the charger to fault out? When I built my 10kw battery, off grid charging setup, the inverter manufacture recommended I use an EMI filter between the inverter and the charger to clean up the power. I wonder if...

We have 3 out o 6. We need 3 more. We ain't getting any younger, now is the time to do this! “Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally...

    EX Shuts Tail Light Off

I replaced the stock bulb, which would still work sometimes, with a new 7528 and it seems to have fixed the problem, wierd. Tail light was on when i started this morning and stayed on when I switched to high beam and back to low beam. Many thanks to @datadog for the help in troubleshooting this.

24 Hours of Starvation Ridge in WA -- October 26 & 27, 2019 (new dates)

Did you look at the muddy mess one? I am game, but not sure I could make the 2018 event. After watching the Perry Mt video, definitely need to get the lighting figured out and not sure if I can make that happen in time for 2018. Could probably rush and make it happen, but would need help from...
