Is this a good generator? A-iPower GXS7100iRD 7100W Dual Fuel Inverter

Here is a sound test and load test of this generator. Costco had this generator last year, and sold them all. now they have them back. That is a good price. . Sound is actually good on this, pretty comparable to all quiet type generators. It only reaches 71db at close to full load. the...

    Battery construction 5,8kwh 72V

No I haven't seen any aftermarket battery system. Unfortunately the easiest way would to replace the battery and controller. But there are very few 350V controllers. I could reload an Alta battery, but not real sure if I could get the wire bond type connection with solder and wire. There are...

    YZ250F 2014 Build With QS 138 70H V3 Motor and 450A controller Part #1 and Part #2

I have 2 x 10A 120V chargers, since I have split my battery into 2 packs, and charge them both at the same time. 120V is available some tracks, but I have a 3500W inverter generator that can run 2 15A chargers. That brings the battery back to 80-90% in 45 minutes from about 50%. 15A charger is...

    YZ250F 2014 Build With QS 138 70H V3 Motor and 450A controller Part #1 and Part #2

So I turned 78 last month. All is well. The YZ250F 2014 Electric is about 6 months old and it has 300-400 moto laps on it, ridden most by a older rider, but it has been near flawless. The battery packs have given me a few problems, but this is their second career on this bike. They have...

2001 RM with QS138 70H V3 motor and Votol EM200 Controller at an Enduro

Yes, it is for a EM260SP The Controller always says EM-100. Just lower the Bus Bar Current on the first page, and your current limiting max for Sport Mode on Pg 2. 200A or try 250A . I think it can push that much. The EM150 pushes 200A.

2001 RM with QS138 70H V3 motor and Votol EM200 Controller at an Enduro

Here are video.s of my YZ with and without Flux Weaking. the One that says Sport mode, the Battery was in the mid 70"s Volts, but you can hear the motor spool up higher. The One with the 2 of us, the CRF and YZ , I was in Mode 2 (66% of sport mode Amps,) but no flux weaking, it doesn't reach...

I think Mark at XEMX1 is really on to something with this quick change battery system. XEMX1.com has more information. Ask him questions on that site.

    Sur Ron Ultra Bee

That is why many of us are going to a solid dirt bike and mod-ing them to Electric. The QS Motor , and ME motors on YX250F frames, the QS motor on CRF frames, the QS motor on RM frames. the QS motor on KX100 frames. All of these have known ride quality, and tons of aftermarket good stuff...

Newbie need advice on a generator

Unfortunately you are right on the Lighter weight model. Shipping is stupidly priced. The heavier one is sold from an Ebay store in So.Cal with free shipping. I bought a 3500Watt gen from them. It was a good experience. Here are reviews of the generators. The lightweight 240VAC MXR6250...

Newbie need advice on a generator

I have my order in for the Stark also, and I will be needing a 240V power source to charge it at the track. Here is a Inverter Generator that puts out 21 Amps at 240V, and only weighs 86lbs. I bought one of there other generators, the MXR3500, only 120VAC, and it has worked out really well for...

    General Varg Beater

We built a 2017 KTM 150SX into an electric with the QS motor. It has a 4.8KW battery. It is 245lbs. It has twice the battery that the RM250 had in the Hare Scramble above. The RM did the 12 mile lap and had about a half a lap left in it on the 2.4KW battery ( approximation, since it was...

    General Varg Beater

To this point, I will include a YouTube that is in other discussions, and illustrates the concepts talked about above. This is Derek Timm's RM250 frame with the new motor many of us are using for it's light weight, and high power output. He has a 2.4KW swappable battery on this bike, that...

2001 RM with QS138 70H V3 motor and Votol EM200 Controller at an Enduro

A friend in Florida who has ridden quite a bit in the Florida area, before on I believe a SurRon type bike, put together a simple but very effective full size electric bike to run the Florida type Hare Scrambles. About a 12 mile (20 minute lap) with the ability to swap batteries each lap. He...

General 72V 50aHr pack of Molicel P42A cells connected with copper

Here are the connectors that I use. They have a screw on each side. This is a only 2 but there are usually 5 or 6 side by side. I use every other one. Here are the ones on Aliexpress. I haven't used these yet. But I think 2 of these for B+ and B- and a smaller one black for the Charge...
