NEW! STARK VARG EX is here!

Quite funny that the very things you mention have supposedly been corrected or implemented on the EX.

Have there been any EX deliveries yet? Post your delivery here.

That's a good one, better to put the wheels on the bike and push it all the way, it would be there way before October 🤣

Estimated delivery if you order Varg EX today (March 6th) is indeed May 5th for Spain. This is exactly the same delay as if you order a Varg MX. And 2 months of waiting has been "standard" for made to order Varg MX for a while. This seems to suggest they've solved an issue with the EX. This...

NEW! STARK VARG EX is here!

Very disappointed. I was expecting the Anton Wass turtleneck limited edition.

NEW! STARK VARG EX is here!

I understand the preorder for the Varg MX made a lot of sense. I am not against DTC either. But now that they have hundreds of dealers, that they have a production line running, why don't they just open orders once they already have their first batches ready to go (to dealers and customers)?

Red Bull Romaniacs introduces Adventure motorcycle and eMoto Classes for 2025

Wild guesses: The official Stark pro riders would stick to the usual, swap batteries in a couple of minutes. Which is not practical for amateurs due to the impossibility to charge the battery as a standalone. They've arranged charging points for some amateur races in the US so either somehow...

Guys from Spain and France are the ones to track, Maverick should get the very first batch, US can then add a good month from there, minimum.

Red Bull Romaniacs introduces Adventure motorcycle and eMoto Classes for 2025

That's great, testing the waters in 24 and creating the category in 25. "Approximate distances will be in the region of 30 km from the Start to the Service Point and slightly less to reach the Finish, with consideration given to the technicality and types of tracks determining the strategy that...

NEW! STARK VARG EX is here!

Right, under promise and over deliver is the way. Especially after the delays in delivering the Varg that were easier to explain while building a factory then setting up production line from scratch.

Throttle and traction control on the Stark

Awesome, thanks! Now if you look at some of the worst rounds for the Varg, like Guthrie or Prescott 1 and 2, M1 the Varg is really off for M1 (3%, 8%, 9%) then for M2, basically last race of the event, difference dwindled under 1%. If you average for 12 rounds your difference percentage for Q...

Throttle and traction control on the Stark

Ok you got me intrigued... but I'm picky! I don't know the day schedule but you've been there, given how the track may evolve during the day, and assuming main 1 for both classes, then main 2 for both classes, were run in close succession, I would rather not do a cross comparison between...

Throttle and traction control on the Stark

That's why I chose to compare fastest times, assuming there would be at least one lap where he could give it all, removing shenanigans from the races and different races durations. Electric races were much shorter, plus it was really just 1 qualifying and 2 mains while gas races were qualifying...

Throttle and traction control on the Stark

Nice 🤓 Laptimes are quite close but also really depends on track layout ! At Guthrie and Prescott the Varg was clearly slower, at Reno and Daytona it was super close or a bit faster. Hicks probably knows why, if it's whoops or a certain kind of turn, jump or whatever. Damn now I need to...

Attempted theft of varg, now locked out of the phone HELP

Sorry to hear that. Standard advice is to meet in a public place not chosen by the buyer and if possible arrange for payment directly at the buyer's bank office. If the buyer only has an online bank I would personally not take cash. In France we have something called "chèque de banque" (bank...

Throttle and traction control on the Stark

I kept track of his fastest times in qualifications and mains, here are for the past few rounds. At Prescott he was clearly faster on the Yam but that was not the norm. Also bear in mind he had little to no experience on the Varg before that. AMA Arenacross, Hicks counter, Guthrie, round 7 X...

Throttle and traction control on the Stark

They've obviously forgotten to tell that to Zaragoza or Hicks when they've been racing AX UK (Zaragoza won first round, Hicks 2nd in round 6). Must be an AMA thing 😁 Also love that Hicks is racing both his Yam and Stark in AMA AX and his laptimes on the 2 bikes are very very close (if maybe not...

NEW! STARK VARG EX is here!

It's disappointing to see such issues at launch again, even more so to see Stark does not own it this time either, not communicating clearly to their customers who just see dates pushed back again and again with no end in sight.

    Stark Varg MX vs. EX

Yeah I couldn't believe that the peak power to continuous power was so high at 6.66 to 1, it's typically more 2 to 1 or 3 to 1 (for Zeros for instance). Crazy but I think it would take more than 1 bike with modest sales (compared to 125 market) to change national or EU laws. Obviously Zero...

    Stark Varg MX vs. EX

EX can be legally ridden with only and A1 license (for motorcycles up to 11 kW (15 hp) and 125cc). In some countries driver licence will automatically grant you A1 license (some require 1 day training). Yes peak power is 80 hp but what matters for the regulations is continuous power, rated at...

    Stark Varg MX vs. EX

Good summary. Battery cells are from a different supplier, pack with 10% more capacity.
