Basically, a clutch, can prevent a whisky throttle from going horribly wrong. In gas bikes, hammering the throttle will get you to the max RPM of the gear you're in. Hammering the throttle on an electric bike will have you flying to rediculous speed in no time. LHRB can not cope instantly...

Unfortunately A boards are very hard to find. With the help of some great members of this forum, I purchased a new complete A pack from a guy who had a spare one, and had the board taken out and shipped to me (I live in Israel).

I also had to replace the BCU of my EX, but that was due to faulty contactor operation which, for some reason, shut down the entire bike. If I recall, my VIN is 46. What's yours? I suppose my BCU was not fixed/updated prior to the time I purchased the bike.

Anyone downloaded and tried it already?

I do notice that my pegs are lower than my friend's ktm pegs position. I like it, but it does scratch the rocks from time to time. For me, it is the most comfortable bike that way.

I use the Fastway evo (don't recall the version number) in the low boy position (I'm tall). Works well. You'll need the pegs suitable to Yamaha.

A partial solution for the MX/R and EX/R guys is to upload the SM maps to their bikes. I had these maps for some reason on my EX before I updated it - The regen braking on map 4 is extremely hard, and the difference in power delivery between maps is much more noticable than on the off road...

noticed a leak from the left fork. turned out there is a laceration in the tube from a previous fall. destroys the oil seals and such when the outer tube passes over it. managed to fix it with some filling and polishing it. so far it seems to work well, but only time will tell if it needs to be...

Do you have the knowledge to uninstall the battery pack and open it? Most inportant, do not reset the error via the multitool and try to start the bike. Please read this thread - Error 32 - Service required negative weld. not good...

There are BCU boards (v2) suitable for the MXR through Ebay. I would purchase one ASAP. I had the same problem (assuming it is in fact a BCU failure), and it was quite an ordeal. Luckily, had a lot of help from this forum's experts.

I remember the Fastace shock on my 2014 Zero FX.. Can not be compared to the high end brands.
