Liquid has the bottom battery covers, so you can damage as many as you want.

    Altering firmware

German car tuners do this all the time. Do we have the geeks on this forum able to do the same? @TCMB371 @querlenker @schwankl @sergeynik

code 37 high humidity in battery pack

Nothing should leak, but I wouldn't do it in the living room. Be careful and don't get electrocuted. You need to use a heat gun or a hair dryer to soften up the sealant. And pry the cover with a tiny screwdriver.

I think it's this McMaster product: Re-sealing the battery The butyl tape is correct, I am certain of this. Error while charging

code 37 high humidity in battery pack

You can try clearing the code and see if it comes back. The worst is you might have to turn the bike upside down, remove the bottom battery cover, and replace the desiccant bag in there. McMaster.com sells the bags, and you can buy the butyl sealant on Amazon. No need to buy a new battery.

They have been moving their warehouse and were too busy for anything else. I am hoping to learn more next month.

Thinking about making the plastics for alta

Really??? This is news to me. If someone indeed bought all the plastic they had, and there was a lot of it, there is no way they would be able to use it themselves. Either Liquid still has it, or it will show up on eBay under a different seller soon.

It must be said though, do not blast the lower back side of your battery with a pressure washer. There is a embrace and a breather hole there through which the battery breathes. Install a skid plate to stop collecting pounds of mud in that area.

If you do not care about color and style, try riding without the shrouds. This is my plan, after I figure some durable protection for the aluminium frame.

    Tesla ATV and Cybertruck

Hmm... If Alta had unveiled the SMR, the ST, and some other cool concept, and collected 1/10th of what Tesla collected in refundable deposits, they would have still been in business. ...like an Alta quad with two battery packs and a 100-mile range.

I can help get a new A-pack battery, but I do not think there are any new R-packs out there.

    What would you pay?

I was going to say $8K for the MX and $9K for the MXR, if both have just 20 miles. They are almost brand new, and you will have a chance to poke the batteries with a laptop at the time of the purchase.

I think the biggest contribution of @C5tor to the Alta community so far had been his awesome humor. If you decide to write a funny book, count me in for 10 copies!

Alta Multitool Laptop kit available to Lend

Great idea, @C5tor! I have moved this into the Resources sub-forum and also created a permanent link to it from Classifieds. This way it won't get deleted after six months. I would figure out the purchase price and ask for that as a security deposit. Yes, most of us here trust each other, but...
