And lets just say he "boasts" quite a bit for what its worth for his bikes and himself.

license plate for mxr in ca

Cadillac Sign and Decal will make you the VIN label. But to be fully legal you need the VECI label. (I have those) some DMVs/CHPs will look for all the emissions labels so gotta make sure you have those. @Dluxor1 let me know if you need that label

    Display Holder MX/MXR

Are you talking about the display foam holder? Liquid should have plenty of those in stock.

ALTA MXR Display says: "Battery Vbat lo"

Since I just recently dealt with this on a A based bike, potentially one of the modules has gone completely bad (the HVPCBA may have failed on the BRD side). If MT can be used this will clearly show the modules that are affected.

Can you have too many electric bikes?

Yeah...lets just say some one here mentioned to Sam about the collection in NZ (especially when Sam is from the Bay Area...and is looking for a bike for his wife...)

    battery bolt

Just as an FYI that bolt was custom from Bossard (hardware supplier). Technically that M10 SHCS with that thread should work, but its partially threaded (about 35mm of the bolt is)

    Code 007 isolation

Code 007 is related specifically to the loss of isolation across the charging system = (charger - DCCP harness - DCCP) Beyond getting MT on the bike I would highly recommend checking the charger, the DCCP and harness. The DCCP is a box in the front bulkhead. It has connections to the battery...

Yep for good measure. Pandora's Box, Schrodinger's Cat ensued.

    Converting MX to EX

Dont remind me how many times I caught that in End of Line....I got good at fixing kickstand switches.

    Converting MX to EX

Did they put the kickstand switch backwards? (there is a specific orientation)

Rutt Roh! Code 36 in da House

No. Yes please connect MT to your bike. Ideally the battery tab graph will provide the most information ideally. I had myself a scare a few weeks ago because the algorithm detecting Code 36s is so SENSITIVE my SM had a quick blip and threw the error code (a bike with 3800miles on it)...

Complete plug and play replacement displays now available

Haha, nothing really, that firmware got released on the forum and then "disappeared". The last ever update really had more quality of life upgrades, though that tip over sensor in the ACM has saved me a few times on the trails.

Complete plug and play replacement displays now available

The FW on the V2 displays is v 2.18 it is a build which never officially came out on the bikes or the Forum. Ive been riding with this display firmware for over 2 years now and have had no issues with performance or charging. Some of the dev notes when it was to be pushed to the fleet...

Were Code 36 MXR Warranty Replacement Batteries Still Susceptible to the same Wirebond Failure?

Strongly disagree. The EV industry has been moving towards wirebonding. The backyard module community does spot welding due to costs. But the risk is higher with having issues with packs of that manufacturing design. The Alta wire bonds are stitch welds which are more "reliable". But...

    Kick stand issue

The actual kickstand bracket is damaged on the retaining tab (bent slightly by the look of it). You need to replace that bracket. Check with the liquidator

Want to buy Looking for a MXR with Code 36 for Export. Something availlable?

Right. Let me know when they understand wire bonding profiles and heel and crimp parameters.

    Another code 36

Potentially, depends now who in the Alta realm is working with you now

    Another code 36

First off Mark meant to say BRD, that's a relay board which talks to the topcover; but if that board fails, the entire module will be non-communicative and its a much worse fail mode. Firmware might be able to provide some better insight, but being its been on FW that's not changed from factory...
