How did you guys know? Any regular 17mm wrench would work much better. I suspect that nobody on this forum has used this tool for what it was intended. I'd rather have received an Alta sticker than this socket.
Haha, Alta supplied tools... I was just thinking about them yesterday. Does anyone know what this 17mm socket is for, and why is it so special that it needed to be included in the tool kit?
I've run 21/18" ContiTrailAttack 2 on my 2015 KTM Adventure R. They worked well, lots of traction. They were not bad even for some light off-roading.
Continental makes some pretty awesome 21/18' dual sport tires. My favorite is TKC80 front and TKC70 rear combo. Even with a knobby front I...
I just viewed this picture on a big laptop screen. There is a beautiful bamboo fence in the background! Pretty cool. Does bamboo grow in the state of Washington??!
Interesting. Was is the same Rapid charger just without a case? I didn't know they existed without a case. Yes, without a case and with shorter cables the rapid charger should be pretty small.
You could attach the rapid charger' Pelican case at a luggage top case onto the rear fender, like on touring bikes. Or buy a second identical Pelican case and mount then both on the sides, lile panniers. :)
No, making your own unique but low-tech parts is not a way to make money. The triple clamps were made common to save money. Alta probably didn't know if they would be selling more MX/EX or SM models.
