    Stark range video(s)

I have seen quite similar results over a full battery. Although the first few procent drain faster from 97-15 has been quite linear. In the 2 hour races there are long laps that drain 13% with a range of 12-14% per lap. I would say that's pretty linear.

    Stark range video(s)

Keep in mind there is a lott of "sand". Loose water like white sand. Clay'ish yellow sand, deep and lumpy "black"/brown sand. All those vary greatly on battery use. A funny thing i found is that having lower power modes like 35hp actually use more charge than 45-60hp. Having more direct power...

    EX street tire question

The Avon Trailriders are wonderfull tyres on these bikes if you do streetriding and some gravel. Even did 2 SM sessions on it and was remarkably good. Also the Kenda K761 is quite a capable tyre for these kind of machines. Did some touring and Adventure touring with both of the above on our...

    Emergency kit?

Useally IF (not all that common) the Stark has issues it's after storage or charging. The chain has no masterlink. That would be more work in the factory + a bigger change of a lineworker making a fault. Those chains are A quality so i wouldn't suspect them to break. And if they do you'll...

    Varg Red Tube

Yes you can order them at the Stark website. They're my spare tubes since they take so little room.

Stark Varg EX in excessive heat.

Had some hot periods, bike did not explode or catch fire.

    Varg Red Tube

Then again it was meant for MX where i can see the appeal of as little rotating mass as possible. And from what i've heard is that these new red tubes do last in MX.

I actually like a heavier rear tube in the Stark on MX. Makes it more controllable in the air.

Royal Enfield Himalayan Electric using Stark parts

I'm quite sure i'd make it on that since i've done a lott of it on my 990 and most of the TET is setup for ADV bikes. I get that in eastern Europe charging is more of an issue. But here in the west there are way more chargepoints than gas stations. At least half of the supermarket have a few...

Royal Enfield Himalayan Electric using Stark parts

For one there is the noise. In Western Europe noise is a big issue on the TET and routes like that. This allows for way more hooliganism or more stealthy single track sneak routes. Also communicating gets a lott easier. I also ride the Adv bikes like big dirtbikes, doing some enduro rock...

Royal Enfield Himalayan Electric using Stark parts

If this has proper speed normal charging, fast DC charging and remains in the 200-220 kg category it might very wel be my next ADV bike. 14,4kW (double Stark EX) is a bit meager though. However i could maybe live with that with proper chargerates. If 20kW and said conditions i just need to find...

Royal Enfield Himalayan Electric using Stark parts

Don't you need an enormous amount of weight to offset the rimlock?

Balanced the wheels on a dirtbike? Damn... I might balance a wheelset for an EX though because i would also use it as a commuter bike, just because i can.

    Stark range video(s)

It says the video is private? On my channel i've a series of races in the Netherlands. I'm in the mid rear of the pack getting 20th/27 this time (most times 18/30 ish). I could pull of 7 laps of 13:30 minutes and have some spare. But i decided to come in after 6, charge for 2 laps and then 1...

Stark varg support is the worst

I've seen what dealers receive and it's at least as detailed as any OEM. However a lott of them have proven too @#$% to open up a manual let alone read it. As you can read i don't hold most MC dealers in high regard for anything more complex than part swapping. Saw my local dealer do fault...

Stark varg support is the worst

True, although with many dealers it might be a lost case all together. My dealer is very good with finetuning carbs and is an excellent rider. Still when i had the cracks in the inverter cover there was no doubt in my might replacing the motor myself or having him do it free of charge if you...

Stark varg support is the worst

I still have problems with my bike not recording rides. Did contact them at the beginning and they didn't really came up with a solution. But that was at the time that montly updates were comming so i decided to sit it out for some time and maybe those would fix it. So far it didn't so i...

Owner's Review Varg EX suspension. Did you go Hard or Mid?

Yeah that charger stand is a pain. Also the lifting handles being made out of sharp metal is quite dull when the rear wheel need to be off the ground. Just lifting it when it's fallen it's heavy, but i fall less since i stall less and make it up more hills so in the end it's a net win and i...
