Stark's/ Adult electric bikes banned from UK enduro events

Here clubs needs basic training for at least 1 official who is there, 1000V rubber gloves AND 1 F500 fire extinguisher. Total cost about 250 euro, so not that big of a deal.

Stark's/ Adult electric bikes banned from UK enduro events

In the early Stark days in the Netherlands all electric MX bikes except KTM's were banned from training on MX tracks under the KNMV (biggest of the 2 relugators). How obvious do you want it to be...

Crashed bike and need help getting it out

The Stark MX weighs 118kg to the bloody dot when new. That you swapped out tubes and probably tires is not Stark lying about the weight. Very true, the 1st gen powertubes were a joke. But they have updated them. They all started leaking at the rimlock. Now the tubes are a tad thicker and have...

    KTM wheel fitment

@FYR for what year EXC are your wheels? I will contact them monday. The KTM front discs are the same size and are interchangeble with Beta and Stark (on both i have used KTM discs in the past). When i offset the wheel 2mm they slide perfect in the brake caliper. Anyhow the thickness is the same...

    KTM wheel fitment

Yeah this is why i'm so surprised. I know KTM used different axle thickness and spacers, but with the proper spacers all wheels fitted al bikes. That this has a different offset for the brake disc is puzzling. Maybe a mistake at the aftermarket supplier...

Crashed bike and need help getting it out

We get it you hate the damn thing. Do you need my adres to drop the thing off? So far i had 1 faillure in over 1,5 years. Not too bad for any dirtbike, let alone a gen1 from a startup.

Crashed bike and need help getting it out

Well i remember a case where one of our friends Beta wouldn't start after he crashed. He spend some time pushing after wich i took over. His handlebar switch had turned and the stop button was pushed by his throttle wire. Turned the switch a bit and MIRACLE, the bike started :ricky:

Crashed bike and need help getting it out

No all Starks have an "endless" chain. Less work to install in the factory and leas to go wrong. I install a masterlink on every bike though. Ik would however take tools to pull the rear axle though. That way you can take the endless chain off and if by some miracle (or the bike was never...

    Change brake caliper adapter

Once the Brake pads and Brake pads holder pin are out it should slide right off.

    KTM wheel fitment

As far as i knew all KTM wheels should fit these bikes. The KTM wheels i had lying about all fitted. However i now have ordered a 17' front wheel, with KTM spacers also perfect in centre, however the brake disc is 2mm too far outwards... Have i been stupid and missed there are 2 kinds of KTM...

Electric motocross survey: questions for Stark Varg riders

I'm not sure about that. They very early adapters were, but with nearly 1000 bikes per month we're past that stage. And about big players sweeping in... What big players? - The Japanese haven't been innovating in MX/Endure since before most promising riders of today were born. The Honda E is...

Electric motocross survey: questions for Stark Varg riders

Lets also not forget that with new tech comes start up problems.

Owner's Review Varg EX suspension. Did you go Hard or Mid?

Did you leave the subframe of the 450fc or did you weigh the Charger with the Stark? The 450 is 104kg without fuel. The Stark 118kg (wich i know is true) 14kg gap - +-6kg fuel is 8kg gap or 17lbs gap...

Owner's Review Varg EX suspension. Did you go Hard or Mid?

The only difference is the springs wich are not expensive and easy enough to replace. Wouldn't bother too much. And way to heavy... it is 12lbs heavier than a fuelled 300 Enduro, so no bike will do i guess. Yes i weighed that myself. How far/long are those hare scrambles, at what pace and what...

The big Stark Varg supermoto information topic

Can't say you're wrong either. I would have loved anything in the 4.00 to 4.50 range better. But well, cheapness won and i figured i could always sell them. Since a beat up set of repainted and dented SM rims for a KTM go for nearly €1000 here in the Netherlands i guessed selling after it...

The big Stark Varg supermoto information topic

I paid 598 for the 2 with extra 15% discount. But your point holds, well under half the price instead of 1/3rd ;) Off course the Haan and Excel wheels are probably better, but good enough does the trick for me and that pricegap is 15 entree tickets for track days.

The big Stark Varg supermoto information topic

Those wheels are 3x the price of mine. I would have prevered 4.25 or 4.50 anyways, but the only size available from this brand was 5.00. @Theo This ''build'' is on a tad lower budget than Starks that will be fully build for SM only. This bike for me is a Sand MX bike first, then an Enduro and...

The big Stark Varg supermoto information topic

Ordered a Twenty set at 24MX for a '22 KTM EXC 300. Comes with a multitude of spaces of wich for front and rear there is a fitting set. However L and R (Left and Right) is on the spacers and that's the other way around. I used the 160 and 120 wide Conti Attack SM2 and they are a very tight fit...

    EX navigation for free.

I think the other way around. The nav costs data do it costs Stark money. The power curves do not.
