I would take a lead on this, if @Fog 25 sends me his new slider. I am also in Michigan, 2-hour drive from Hot Foot Moto. I will be in Arizona in December with my Alta, but I will be able to make a prototype and then mail it or deliver it to Hot Foot.

The brake force of the regen is only like 2-5% of the max power, or 20-50 times less. If you can discharge the bike at WOT in 20 minutes, then it should take 7-17 hours of driving to charge it via regen.

It is not an easy drain and re-fill. It can be quite technical, depending on the bike that you have. You will need special tools too. I would not bother at 10 hours. Maybe 50-100 hours, then yes. I would take it to a suspension shop then. And have the seals changed at the same time.

I used to transport dirt bikes like this a long-long time ago. I was removing the stock rear bumper and installing a steel beam with three horizontal pipe pieces welded to it. Remove the front wheel and attach the forks to the pipe with the stock front wheel axle. I could transport up to 3 bikes...

Haha, I already called them, talked to Josh. They still have that MXR, but they do not know if they can sell it, and if yes then for how much, because it is owned by Alta, not a bank. I asked them to find out. I also called four other dealers in my area. All had at least 1-2 new bikes in stock.

First Alta would have to declare a bankruptcy -- perhaps Chapter 11. Downsize and re-open on a much smaller scale. Would they still be able to operate and be profitable? Chapters 7, if they do not have a recovery plan. Banks and investors may buy the asserts at the auction, but I do not think...
