Owner's Review Review after 500 miles on my MXR

Cool. This is a interesting mounting location. Forgot to ask, why can't we hear the gas bike?

    Replacing Alta plastic

You might want to order a plain white graphics kit to keep it this way. White plastic does not stay pure white for long.

Speedometer/Odometer reads from motor shaft, NOT front wheel!!

This is the cheapest way to measure the speed, no additional hardware is needed. There is no ABS on these bikes, so installing a wheel speed sensor and a wire harness to it would have cost extra money and would not have been appreciated by guys who do not watch their speedometers, or do not...

Owner's Review Review after 500 miles on my MXR

Cool video! I like this view from a bike mounted camera. The lower camera height makes the speed appear a little faster than the rider sees it, and the 60-degree lean angles look like from a Moto GP video!

Congrats to all Alta Owners! Last week our forum membership surpassed 100. Not a large number, but it will surely increase as Alta Motors keeps building and selling bikes. With that in mind, I thought I would find a way to make it easier to locate other Alta owners nearby. Introducing: Member...

Re-springing a 2017 Alta Redshift MX (and then revalving too)

    What is "the tank"?

    Tesla pickup truck

Musk pre-sold a few hundred of those semi trucks already. One of the orders was 100 trucks, IIRC. Someone must need them, and probably not just for the cool or environmental reasons. They are already priced competitively compared to the semi trucks currently on the market. Very little...

    Handling fees?

It was included when the Redshift cost $15K. With that, I'd say, a 240V generator should have been included!

Re-springing a 2017 Alta Redshift MX (and then revalving too)

It's a very popular KTM WP shock. It should be pretty robust, else everyone would have heard about it.

    Handling fees?

There shouldn't be any such fees. I was an fool myself when one of the dealers added a "destination charge" on my invoice and I didn't question it. This is all BS. :poop:
