    Varg MX 1.2

Well the Alta was great I was ready to buy one when I got my 300tpi. But Stark went further than Alta in range and power. And put themselves in a different class than Alta. I know you and others have had some problems I am not discounting that. But just look at TPI and TBI bikes and the Stark is...

Button Unit get Stuck with dirt, Varg EX and MX

I have replaced many button units on the MX. I use my bike for enduro and have dropped the bars into deep mud and dirt and it has caused problems. Sometimes you can use a thin piece of wire to clean around the edges and free a stuck button other times I have been forced to push because a stuck...

    Varg MX 1.2

While the yz450f is now a proven bike. The current core tech wasn't and that ran from 2010-2017 as not being a good bike. And until 2021 when Ferrandis won 2021 AMA outdoors many were still skeptical that it was any good in the US. Go over to TT if you don't believe me, it used to have its own...

    Varg MX 1.2

With all the new features nobody noted that the tube "choice" is either mousse or changing out the plastic inserts for real tubes upon arrival. 1000.00 sales tax haha what does that protect Harley's closing of Alta... 🤔

Haha. I never saw that before but my comments about power modulation are also validated :ROFLMAO:

    Stark Varg sidestand bracket

Chinese stuff is as good or better than any other place. But better will always cost more no matter where it is made. The Chinese have bought or built some of the best machine tools in the world and have top talent to produce top quality. That will cost more no matter what the geography though...

Wow that is nice no pun intended. :)

    electronic clutch

Yes this is shown in the vid to remove the rear tire as well, where moving the wheel forward enough allows for chain removing the chain from the sprocket. Unfortunately I didn't have any tools when I had my "pushing events"...😢

    electronic clutch

It depends on how the clutch is implemented. For example, a clutch on an ICE bike is no better for pushing than the drag of the motor on an E-bike since you still have to turn much of the drive system. Clutching is fundamentally different than disengagement which is really neutral. And those are...

    Horn Kit

Box full of horn parts... Jesus. It is probably time for Stark to move their operations to Asia and save the Euro middle man. At least then it will at least come with unreadable instructions. The last 3 shipments of things I have ordered from the Stark store haven't made it to me. They can't...

    electronic clutch

I don't want a clutch and see little need for it even if it was cheaper. The great advantage of electric motorcycles is the precise control of the power without mechanical ICE like interference. The kludge of ICE tech is the fact it can't be controlled at all levels and it has to be disengaged...

    VARG EX APP

Sidebar2: Do you have PDS on the rear of your 300? I have found the Stock Varg MX way better in gnarl than the my 2020 300xc-w, especially log and rock hops (PDS behavior is just too unbalanced). I am lighter in weight but I like my suspension stiffer than most. I use my MX exclusively for...

Using the level hole is better than documentation which can contain errors or be wrong. Oh and BTW SAM uses what is in the documentation and will mime an error since he is a mime and everyone knows mimes make lousy service techs... :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

    I want Stark to succeed…but,

Did you find any components on the Stark lacking grease? The last bike I disassembled pre-riding was my 2014 Yamaha WR450F and all the grease-ables were well greased. I had Yams and KTMs after that and did not disassemble. I never had problems, but it is probably is still a good practice.

Varg EX has different sound to Varg MX. EX howls more and is significantly louder

I notice slightly more noise on my MX with the new recommendation for chain slack (~2" at the slider). Also, as a side note, I do a lot of slow gnarl riding with my Varg and the new level of chain slack does slightly impact the throttle response at low speeds.

    I want Stark to succeed…but,

Stark is a somewhat typical European motorcycle company. Great innovation and ideas but often with an overreach attempt at clever and over-engineering on the unimportant. Generally there is also a mediocre capability to deliver consistently and often it is those attempts at clever which cause...

    I want Stark to succeed…but,

Sorry you are having issues. Did you have these bikes directly shipped or did you go through the dealership for purchase? The dealership I bought my Starks from assembled and tested my bike before I received them and took care of some paperwork hiccups was well. They made sure I got what I...
