    Varg ex red light

I also think the internet is a poor barometer of the reality of what is really occurring. People who have problems post, folks who don't have problems often don't post. So the information is not really correlated to the actual product results. Defect rates could be extremely low and my guess...

Varg EX has different sound to Varg MX. EX howls more and is significantly louder

Haha I think the results in building a place like Naxos with a blanco cheque work out better though. When my uncle passed away one of my aunts who was tasked with cleaning up his place complained that there were old metal part strewn all over his backyard including a rusted out old motorcycle...

    Varg - Gear Oil Change

I think the MXs had their drain bolts overtorqued at the factory. Stark changed the design and the bolts now come with a 13mm wrench head.

Cool. Oh BTW next time I talk to redRider144 I will tell you said he is still a jackass!! :ROFLMAO:

    Varg ex red light

@tymck7 Did Stark log into your bike and troubleshoot or did they say powertrain just from your explanation? I wonder if the dealership even checked the connectors as @AbnormalWrench suggested and test or if they just go ahead and follow Stark's troubleshoot. No harm in getting a new...

    Owner's Review long term stark

Haha you are a young buck again!!! Agree on the Pirellis, they are remarkably good. For my riding I am going to use a more gummy like the IRC jx8 gek when the Pirellis are worn out, but it is worthwhile to wear through the Scorpions in my opinion --they are pretty good in most terrain deep mud...

    Extended warranty

100% right. I wonder what the underwriter used for benchmark data? There must be a good amount of metrics compiled from our bikes. Warranties on dirtbikes especially machines that are largely used by early adopters are incredibly risky --unless they are not. One thing that might be is that the...

    Extended warranty

:ROFLMAO: Here all our AI guys like Altman are like used car salespeople so I am always skeptical of their compliments. I prefer hot flim flam like Elizabeth Holmes or Charlie Javice that I can fall for...

    Extended warranty

Yes agreed. No I am not a bot just an engineer, I think my ex accused me of being a bot though... :) Somethings we can't even have without insurance here. For example for most mortgages you need homeowner's insurance and in Massachusetts you have to buy auto insurance or you can't register...

    Coolant

The Stark video on coolant bleeding looks similar to pink 50/50 Zerex. What are folks using? In my ICE bikes I have always used something like Engine Ice.

    Extended warranty

Insurance policies always favor the insurer. If the risk of utilization of the warranty protection were high, and say, the product was susceptible to defects it would not be profitable to offer an extended warranty. Yes there is a percentage of folks who do benefit from these types of extensions...

    No dead battery failsafe's...

Right. You are headed home after a brutal day of hard enduro low on battery and you have one last brutal ledgey hill climb with tight fall offs till done... and you crash and you are using crawl to save your ass... And right at the precarious point bike shuts down. That is my luck at least.

    EX left me stranded today

When you say logged you off do you mean the app right? Your bike was usable in any case wasn't it? You'd be without indications but your bike would work unless the EX operates differently than the MX.

    EX left me stranded today

Well thanks for posting in any case. It seemed to coincide with the outage so it was a worry.

    EX left me stranded today

The notice from Stark indicated that this impacted the app not the bike itself. So the bike itself should be operational without connectivity. And in fact my bike was stolen and Stark told me they need connectivity to disable the bike and it would still operational for the thieves if it was...

    Stark range video(s)

I don't run out of battery . I ride my bike in mostly trail, slow gnarl, and hard enduro typically 4 hours or less. I am not a fast MX track guy like you anymore.:)

My Stark Varg MX1 will not switch to Run mode.

Interesting and good to know. That is a spot that collects load of dirt and mud too.

    Stark range video(s)

I don't see regen like that. I see it more like the mass of a 4T and can be useful energy that is reclaimed and used for control like engine braking. All the energy in dragging a parking brake is lost to heat with no useful work or (re)storage.

100% Agree. Also I am sure @markhamr is way faster than me.

    Stark range video(s)

What are you using for regen? Are you riding it like a 2T? If so, tune it more like a 4T.
